Summer of Gunpla | HG Reborns, my favourite frame

In before Friday Pragmatism tomorrow, if I get to writing it before Saturday.

Built HG Reborns at Rok’s tonight while he build NG Kyrios.
The photos are rubbish because I forgot to bring my normal camera which usually lives in my satchel permanently. These were taken with the phone and look atrocious.
Lesson learnt.

Reborns runners.

After a PG build you are always stunned by the lack of runners in everything else, but this High Grade was actually a lot of fun.

At this point, Reborns became my favourite frame – PG Strike aside as it doesn’t really count.

I decided Reborns the Gundam is a female with no regard for the pilot or the stupid show. She’s gorgeous.

I want you… to not forget your good camera next time.

She is absolutely brilliant. I didn’t take any photos of her prongs because I got sick of the dodgy phone-cam, but I will surely do another shoot with the good camera and start-up some NG Adventures fun with her and the boys (NG Gale’s hanging out for some involvement). Even for a High Grade 1/144 scale, she’s amazing – stunning feet with high-heels and a toe-stand, a sliding knee-panel, great torso and of-course a brilliant back-pack with prongs.

I’ll be stealing the stand from Blu Duel to pose her on.
She deserves a Master Grade and I’m desperately hoping she gets one. 00 has produced a lot of NG 1/100s though, and though they’re great and really approaching MG, a new, fully featured Master Grade would be absolutely brilliant.
Reborns is so good that I’m seriously contemplating buying another one just to have two; I enjoyed the build that much and just love the look.
