Spaceteam is on Android
You need to play Spaceteam.
It’s been on iOS for ages but now it’s on Android.
I’m on an old build of Android which for the moment doesn’t support bluetooth HOWEVER I can just turn on my hotspot and host and BAM, everyone connects up via wifi.
Spaceteam is free to download.
It has things you can buy in it but you don’t need them. The creator Henry Smith straight up tells you that you can buy things to help him make more games. Each thing you can buy is about $0.99 so it’s like giving him a tiny donation for some cool stuff.
There’s also a donate button on the credits page which I’m going to make liberal use of next pay cycle.
Aaaaaah, you still don’t know what Spaceteam is.
Soooooo…
Um…
It’s about a team.
In space.
It’s a multiplayer cooperative game that requires a minimum of two players. Three is better. Four is best.
Players start with three or so buttons, dials, switches or sliders on the bottom half of their screen. Above these is a text read out with instructions to manipulate these controls… however the instructions you get aren’t always for you. (They’re almost entirely for everyone else). You need to relay these instructions to everyone and hope that the person with the correct control carries it out.
As the spaceship travels through space, it takes on damage which makes your controls harder and harder to see.
It’s like a Vlada Chvaatil game on phones which is bloody FANTASTIC.
You NEED to play this game.
