revisit | Pop – U2

Another Howie B/Flood classic. Listening to these great albums again really does almost stop me from listening to anything else. Pop remains one of the most amazing albums ever to come out of the Irish quarter, made all the cooler by being one of the least popular U2 albums ever. The compression and dynamics on this album are phenomenal, as well as the overall mix. Listening right through I’ve been totally amazed all over again by just how perfectly this collection of songs has been crafted.

The standards are high, and rarely ever met.
