it is strange that both my parents will now commit a whole night to watching a film and thoroughly enjoying it.
i was previously unaware of their capability to have arbitrary fun.
an alleged criminal drives toward the city and is pulled over by police who find the plates of the vehicle have are the same as those of one stolen, the alleged criminal then proceeds to pull a firearm on them and thus we have a standoff from roughly 4pm to 11:50 when i dropped my brother off and so far as i know still counting.
this makes it impossible for me to do my job assisting at the studio.
no problems, because i get a message from the engineer to say the session has been cancelled.
what good fortune.
so i don’t mind now that they didn’t shoot him so the traffic could proceed as normal. besides – even if he is an alleged criminal, it wouldn’t be nice to shoot him.
instead my brother who’s plans for the other side of the city are also cancelled due to afore mentioned standoff, calls me and we go to see ‘pirates of the carribean’ (spelling) in the suburbs.
the suburbs are still as dull as they ever were, and the film was delightful seeing as i was expecting absolute crap with tasty visuals. the visuals were of-course quite delicious, and the rest of the film surprising not terrible all things considered. the bottom line was i enjoyed myself hence making the film a good one if not the most clever.
