Fluid rules
I’ve been forced to adjust my thinking on modular behaviour
I don’t think I have limited modules
Or perhaps not any more
It’s just that with each new thing, a new director is born
Each thing is engaged, one at a time
And when it’s completed, the director wanders off to somewhere else
Does whatever he or she or it does
Sometimes they come back
I think they all come back, even if only to watch
So it’s a nice little community
Or a big community
A very big community indeed
I’m reminded of some of the rules, don’t ever tell
And so now I say;
I will never tell you what it means
I will never show you how and why and where it comes from
Not online, not in person
Except in person if I trust you
And I’ll make you earn that trust
In ways you wouldn’t expect
I trusted one person once, and it was a foolish decision
No
I’m happy for it to remain nonsense until the day I die
Best you forget it now and turn to other distractions
Until then it’s lies and silence
Like it’s always been
Remember that the same rule applies as to everything else;
I blame no-one
I blame everyone
And rest assured, right now, you do not know what that means
