DS love

i love my ds.

that is all.

NO!  of-course it isn’t!  so i rock up at the local big w at 9am, they’ve got them, but no accessory packs, plus the staff suck.  so i trundle off to the local k-mart up the road, where the staff are very cool, it’s 9:20 and i’m the third person to buy one, plus there’s a lady next to me in line for the fourth, a gift for her son.  the lady asked ‘are they good?’ and apparently the nintendo rep hadn’t been into that store just yet, so i got to flex my communication skillz and talk about the DS and the PSP.  both the lady purchasing and the one serving us were very friendly, and overall it was a fantastic experience.
i love being tech savvy.  i love it good.
headed over to chibi-r’s place to pick him up and get his, he got it at games-rush where they were accepting three traded gba games to reduce the price to $99.  also max_damage over at livejournal picked his up this morning from eb in the city.

so – now i’m at work… not playing my ds… not playing super mario ds – or the metroid demo… or picto chatting with chibi or max.

that sucks.

but i am happy 😀 – see?  even make smilies.
SMILE DAMNIT, OR IT’LL BE YOUR HEAD.

After about a year of playing a very small selection of games, I never really touched it again. It’s a great platform, but small-scale gaming isn’t for me. When I commute I tend to just want to listen to music and be still, watch and observe. When I’m elsewhere I’m usually doing something or other, or busy doing nothing at all, so I really don’t want to fill that time looking at a digital screen and playing ultra small-scope games.
