Citizens
When they walk I walk with them
You are nowhere to be seen
In days gone past it was likened to abandonment
There was convenience in such a perspective
It was however unclear who abandoned whom
And now the theorem is irrelevant
For two things to be compared they must exist in the same space
These two things most definitely are not in the same space
Once I thought of such things as invitations
Even provocation
Seduction
All are irrelevant
And in me there is a sense of possession
Territorial greed
A militant exclusion of others
This thing I own and am proud to own
The damage it does
The gratification it brings
You will make yourself relevant or you won’t
I continue to regard you in absolute neutrality
I have my world
You have yours
Do with your own citizens as you wish
