Holy Cripes! (gots another fur baby too lol)

Holy hell I haven’t been around in a while. Again. Oops.

Well Dave finally had his surgery (read a few back) this past Thursday. He’s been told that he can lay down and stand for 2 weeks. lol No sitting straight up.

I think I might kill him before this 2 weeks is up. But then, maybe not. lol He’s been ok with me 😉

In 2 weeks he gets his foley taken out…it’s just plugged, there to keep the shape of everything and make sure it stays dry while it heals. If that seems to be doing ok, then a couple days later he’ll go back to have the supra pubic out (the one straight through his stomach).

He’s on valium right now at night, supposedly to help keep him from having erections but um. That shit isn’t working. :p I called them today and let them know, but I had to leave a message. I think they’re used to treating older men this way and the dosage probably DOES help them. This sucks for him right now though.

Hm. Kids are good. Nothing too interesting to report….

Well maybe. Aurora cut ALL OF HER CURLS OFF! And not just off, but to her head! I’ll have to post some pictures in a little bit.

I thought I had all the scissors put away from them, but I thought wrong. I found her as she was finishing, asked her WHYYY??? She just told me she didn’t like her “boingys” anymore.

I had her look in the mirror and she got this sour face, and I said, “You don’t like it, do you?”

She told me, “…it’ll grow back…”

So I tried not to laugh and well. Yeah. It WILL grow back. I’m just glad it happened in the summer and not during school. She’s so sensitive about it, no one can ask her “Why did you do that?!” or anything in the way of being shocked or she’ll go hide.

I’m so ready for school to start lol

Random thought…for some reason my right bum muscle is sore. I have no idea what I did…

Well I’ll put pictures up in a while…here’s our newest baby though.

She’s almost 7 weeks old…tomorrow? I think. Alaina’s friend, I got to talking with mom about big dogs and something was mentioned about danes, and she got all excited and told me that his family had a litter. So we went to see them lol

Oh. Yeah. Yes, she IS a great dane. lol

I fell in love with her at 3 weeks old, but went back yesterday to see the rest of them (most were asleep the first time), and I ALMOST ran off with their male harlequin pup, but at the last minute his mom stopped me and said her husband had agreed to let her keep that one (she’d wanted to keep him, he reminds her of one she had to put down) and they’d let me have any other pup for $100 less…honestly they weren’t asking that much to begin with so I agreed. (Mom and dad aren’t show dogs, don’t have champion bloodlines, and none of the pups have qualifying markings to even BE shown – the harley has too much black, and one leg is ‘socked’ in grey, the rest are black with white tipped paws and some white on the chest, the one we took is a merle)

Anywho. I have to constantly remind the kids that even though she’s huge already, she’s a TINY baby. And they can’t pick her up, hell she’s 24 lbs already.

But. yep. that’s our new baby lol. We now have a boxer, a great dane, 3 cats and a ferret. And our fish are STILL at my inlaws cause we don’t have a fish stand. lol or a counter to put the tank on (it’s only a 10 gal but NO COUNTER SPACE! lol)
