The Hierarchy of  the law firm of

“ MYMOSTSELF”

I am a Full Partner

My husband is an Associate

Youngest-16, Princess, is a paralegal

Oldest-21, Beauty, is an intern who thinks she should be a Full partner

Our lease with option expires on 12/31/08- Client /landlord/seller, The Lord

The paralegal wants to know if we are moving. (Where/when) how will it impact her job and will we be on a bus route to her same high school.

The intern /now home/ is looking for a room in college town to move back (no money though…2 weeks without an anxiety attack and she’s cured? NOPE still in weekly therapy)) registerd for full time course load next semester…but parents are broke and she’s not eligible for financial aid or scholarship

Again, our lease expires 12/31/08…we cannot exercise the “to buy” option.

The Lord has called twice to inquire as to our intentions

Full Partner was grocery shopping both times.(supplying the firms sustanence)

The first call: The Associate told The Lord she must speak to the Full Partner.

Afterwards, The Associate and Full Partner had a strategy-planning meeting; Full Partner shared her thoughts on how the family should proceed and the need to be upfront and truthful to the Lord. The associate nodded in agreement.

(No initiative…or ideas…hummmm?)

The second call…Full Partner is not home.

Associate has a discussion with The Lord. When Full Partner arrives home, Associate tells Full Partner to call the Lord but stated that He and the Lord- did discuss the state of affairs.

The Full Partner followed up with a call to the Lord.

The Lord requested an update. (????) Full Partner mentioned that the associate reported that he and the Lord had already discussed THINGS. The Lord said Associate discussed the state of the economy, but not the family’s intention. Full Partner gave Full disclosure to the Lord.

(The associate will never make Full Partner at this firm)

The Lord plans to inform the firm of courses of action/options within 30 days. Everyone can plan a future from that point.

It’s lonely at the top! (or bottom)

Interesting…and entertaining. Not sure if either was the intent, but you can’t help it that you write so well!
