An entry

So I am sitting here in my boxers being cold while it is warm outside.  This is madness.  I am waiting for food to be broken down in my stomach and the various important macronutrients to rush into my intestines and be absorbed into my blood stream.  I will then pause as said nutrients fill my liver with sweet, life-giving glycogen, hopefully allowing me to carry my body through the 9 mile run proposed by my running plan.  Lol-ler-skates, my plan doesn’t actually call for 9 miles today, but 7.  Regardless, I will be doing 9 since I clearly know better than whichever experts came up with this plan.  Idiots.

Yea, so what I’m doing now is like a kind of variation on the Runnersworld 16 week plan.  I’m currently beginning week 3.  This may or may not be an excuse to play with OD’s table creation abilities.

That’s pretty much what I did this week.  Racked up a solid 14  miles running…not bad for getting back into the swing of things.  You get it?  Swing of things?  I’m cheating on Cassie.  ROTFLOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t you hate it when people use ‘LOL’ for things that just don’t warrant an lol in caps???  Thankfully, my dad was able to provide me with an example.

But yea, I changed the plan’s original easy run on Wednesday to a Hill day and I think I’m going to alternate it between hills and FARTLEK LOL!!! each week to hopefully help improve my speed.  I’m finding it hard to swim on any of these days because of my lifting schedule.   My arms and back are usually so sore from pullups and crap that swimming is truly laborious.  Add in the fact that I use 93% of my energy swimming in staying afloat and things get worse. 

Ideally, I want this for a workout week.

The way my plan works is that I have three workout weeks per month followed by a rest week to prevent overtraining.  Boy…that looks like a hell of a lot now that I type it all out.  Yea, that is a lot.  I think I could get here fairly steadily in about 3 months, maybe 4.  Maybe each month throw in another lifting day and after the three months throw in another running day.

Jusssstt sitting here.  Trrrryyyying to get pumped for El Run Longo as they’d say in Spanish or Un Run de Long in French or CHING CHERNG CHANG CHONG in Chinese.

You know, I have no idea how my Cat is able to sleep while I have Thunderhorse blaring throughout the house.

ng on a cocktail (of branched chain amino acids) and I’m thinking that I’m a very self-centered guy.  My OD certainly is extremely self-centered.  All I talk about is myself! Me!  Myself!   When in actuality I have a very wonderful girlfriend that I should be saying more sweet things about.  She’s very cute, mind you all.  Cute and weird.  She’d just as soon be upside-down and smiling as she would be right side up.  Every night, she and I talk on AIM and end up on the phone.  We don’t always have much to say, but it’s satisfying enough to know she is there.  Even…when she is asleep! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!ONE

Hahahaha, this is truly inexcusable.  I really should get some more hours.  I wouldn’t mind pulling some part time during the day…I just really like spending time with my mom after she gets home from work.  My mom’s just so awesome.  She’s not outstandingly bright or at all really that different from your average person, but she isn’t demanding or manipulative like my dad.  She does stick up for me when my dad tries to put me back on the research/academics railroad tracks.  Don’t get me wrong, my dad sticks up for me when my mom unfairly compares me to my cousins.  But yea, mom.  She swims weirdly and likes gardening and flowers and fruits and shit.  What more can I say?  Oh yea, she doesn’t try to lure me places so she can impart a whole slew of her own personal crap philosophy or tell me not to trust people whom I’ve had zilch experience with.  She doesn’t believe that her own opinions override others automatically due to her Ph.D…which she doesn’t have but that was a reference to my father (read : walking brain).  Speaking of dad….observe.

Your work out schedule is insane!!! You are going to burn yourself out!!but you never know, could be good!! Me and Sam are trying to figure out what we are going to do. we need some structure.. ACTUALLY, We are close. I don’t want to say were, because that implies she is gone. Even if she is just lying in bed, drooling, i still want to believe that she is ALIVE. i think i just run away from that kind of stuff. easier than confronting it.
