Thank you

Thank you to all who have prayed for me to get better from the flu.  I am better.  But still tired.  It’s nasty stuff.  And it’s everywhere.
They’ve been shutting schools down here in Wisconsin.  I know several schools that have cancelled classes because so many kids were missing.
My daughter and her family have already had it.  Both she and I bleached our whole homes just to kill the bug.  Bleach works!!

Note:
If you are using hand sanitizer with kids be careful.  The stuff contains alcohol.  Your kids can get poisoned if they lick their hands after using the stuff.

The health dept. that I work in recommends you wash with soap and water.  And really wash.  We sing  Yankee Doodle while washing our hands.  Sounds crazy, but the longer you wash with soap and water, the better.  If your kids don’t know Yankee Doodle, have them sing Happy Birthday. 
Hey teachers:  I know we don’t like it when the kids play in the water, but they will dry.  Kids don’t melt.  Yes, and water can make a mess.  But wouldn’t you rather have a mess vs. a sick child?
