More News On Mom
Mom is still not out of the woods yet. Tomorrow I take her to get an MRA. It’s just like an MRI, but they are looking at the arteries from her heart to her extremities. They already know she has a blockage in her right leg. The MRA will tell us where and how much is blocked.
After the MRA, she will be scheduled for surgery at St. Mary’s in Madison. The doctors will then put a stent in her leg to open the artery up.
The surgery will be very hard on mom. Because she has COPD and CHF, her heart and lungs aren’t very strong. Chances are: she could die on the operating table.
I’m tired and very stressed these days. Especially with mom. I’m especially tired from going to ER and dealing with foreign doctors who think women are scum of the earth.
As for me: Well:
1. Had a meeting with the Vice Pres. of the Bank. Told them that I can’t continue making $300. payments on my van. Showed them why. Gave them the breakdown on my monthly income vs. monthly bills.
2. It’s fall, allergy season for me. Can’t breathe. And I get tired taking so many meds to prevent symptoms. Claritin D, Albuterol Inhaler, nasal spray. And then sleeping in the recliner because I can’t breathe.
3. Looking for work that I can do at home. I need extra income BADLY!!!! $990 per month doesn’t cover the bills.
4. Gotta finish painting the bedroom. One and half walls to go.
5. GET ORGANIZED!!! So when the bill collectors come, I can give them what they want.
Other thoughts:
Have any of you watched "Street Court?" Today I watched it for a few minutes. There was a couple on there where the woman had kicked her husband out of the house because he had an affair. He wanted back in because he had no where to go. So she let him in for 2 weeks. In that time he maxed out the bills and left. She was only suing for $1200. The judge told her that she could sue for more. Because what he did to her was like being stabbed in the heart and then pulling the knife out and doing it again. And he had no remorse.
Where was this judge when I went thru the same thing? I had to pay my ex $46,661.50 for doing the same thing to me.
Sometimes I wish money grew on trees. Today I couldn’t make it to work because I don’t have the money for gas to get mom to the doctor tomorrow. You know the economy is bad when you have to choose between going to work and staying home because you don’t have the money for gas. I also need an oil change, but that will have to wait. It’s already 2 months past. Can’t help it. Not enough finances, something has to wait.
