Has anybody ever told you that you’re too young to be in love?

No, not anymore.  I’m all about comfort!

I used to love roller coasters and all kinds of rides.  Then one day, out of the blue, I got really sick on a ride.  I haven’t been able to stomach them since.  Literally.

Do you have inside jokes with your parents? 

Both my parents are deceased but I definitely had plenty of inside jokes with my mom.  Probably a few with my dad as well but I don’t remember them 🙁

 

 

 

Have you ever thrown a surprise party for somebody? 

 Yes, I’ve thrown a couple of surprise showers (baby and bridal).

 

Did you ever want a pony for a gift as a kid?

No.

 

 

Do you know who your mom’s favorite singer is?

When she was younger, she loved Roger Miller and Ray Price.  In later years she really loved country music and adored Kenny Rogers.

The last time you got dressed up – where were you going?

Sadly, it was for a funeral.

 

 

 

Have you ever gone to a school that made you wear uniforms?

Kindergarten through 8th grade, I attended St. Rita’s School and wore a plaid jumper, white shirt, blue or green knee high socks and black and white saddle shoes.  Actually, now that I think about it, until 3rd grade we wore dark blue jumpers, bow ties and a beanie!

 

 

 

What is your favorite card game?

I love all kinds of accents, no one in particular.

When was the last time you fought with a friend?

Well one of my best friends and I had a disagreement over the summer.  We pretty much didn’t speak for 3 months!  I felt very hurt and betrayed by her and I just kept praying about it.  Finally one day I just picked up the phone and told her I loved her and I wanted this to be over.  Aside from that, it has been years since I’ve had a serious disagreement with any of my friends.

Yes.  Most of them turned out badly.

No I really don’t.  There are a few things I like to cook but I’d much rather be the clean-up person..

Are you proud of your parents?

Very proud!  They were the 2 strongest, most loving people I’ve ever known.  I tear up just thinking about how wonderful they were.

Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA

 

Have you ever (accidentally or not) set off a car alarm?

More than once.  Our little Leah has set off our alarm severat times.   She gets a hold of Mommy’s keys and presses the button.  It surprised us considering how far away the car is parked!

I don’t remember calling it either one.

II love pudding!  Vanilla is my favorite.

No.  I’ve probably shed a few crocodile tears though.

I won’t buy them but I’ll read them if they are laying around somewhere.

 

 

 

When you were a kid did you ever make up your own games?

Sure, we made up games all the time.

People always come to me for advice and I love giving it.
