Hello my friends!

I swear I wish there was a "Reader’s Choice" for best notes!  You guys are incredible!  You leave me the kindest, most loving and uplifting notes I could wish for.     I thank each and every one of you who left me 1 (or 2 or 3)!   I’m curious about something, I would say more than half of the notes I got were private.  Some were private for obvious reasons but most were not.  Are people just leaving more private notes lately?  Just wondering.

This has been a rough week money wise.  In that we have none.  Even cashed in my change.  But strangely enough, I have felt more grateful this week than I have in a while.  Maybe I am just learning to appreciate the smaller blessings in my life, I’m not sure what it is.  But it’s a good feeling.  As for big blessings, well I get paid on Friday!  WOOHOO!  It has been an incredibly long month it seems. 

Nothing has really changed here on the home front.  Aimee is stil job searching and we still have to move.  She had no interviews at all last week but she has 4 this week.  We still have to move of course but it has been delayed.  My landlord is taking us to court without even giving us 30 days to move out as we had talked about.  So all bets are off now.  We don’t go to court till October 26th so I will be here till then.  He is also suing us for a sum of money  that is incorrect.  He says we didn’t pay July or August which is untrue.  We paid almost all of July (less $300) and half of August.  He also has a full months security deposit.  I really do hate this.  I don’t like paying my bills.  Back when i was doing drugs I wouldn’t even open my bills, much less pay them.  Once I got clean and sober and start re-building my life, paying bills became something that actually gave me a good feeling of satisfaction. And that has stayed with me.  I like to pay my bills and I like to pay them on time.  So this has not been easy for me but I don’t have any choice.  We still plan for me to go down to the country and for Aimee and Makayla to stay with Bonnie. 

Speaking of Bonnie, I went over and suprised her the other day with a visit.  I feel so out of touch with everyone since our cell phones were cut off.  My best friends Bonnie, Debbie and I are used to talking on the phone every single day, sometimes 2 or 3 times!  She was so happy to see me and vice versa.  She talked me into staying for dinner.  I had beans and franks the night before and more of the same waiting at home, so you can bet it didn’t take much convincing LOL.  Besides, Bonnie is a great cook and she really outdid herself.   We had breaded pork chops with gravy, macaroni and cheese and a vegetable casserole made with onions and tomatoes and beans and diced potatoes.  I’m not sure what she seasoned it with but she baked in the oven and oh my was it good!  I told her that was the best dinner I’d had in a long time and I meant it.  It was delicious.  She sent me home with the rest of the veggies and I had them for breakfast the next morning. 

I made brownies last night.  I couldn’t tell you the last time I did that but we’ve had a box sitting in the cupboard for a few months now.  They really turned out well.  I had a warm one last night and it was delicious.  Makayla doesn’t know I made them since she feel asleep early last night.  I’m waiting for her to get home from school right now so I can surprise her with one.   Okay here she comes!! See ya later!  ((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))
