Hello everyone,

It’s been a pretty good week. A great week actually. My facebook friends already knows this but for those who don’t, the big news is that Aimee got a job! A really good job!

She actually interviewed for this position over a month ago. She loved everthing about it, the job itself, the company and the location. She had pretty much given up on it since she had never heard a word from them. Then out of the blue, the lady she had met, called and asked if she was still available. She said she was trying hard to get the big wigs to finalize their decision and she would definitely called her one was or another. That was last Monday and on Wednesday night Aimee opened her email to find an offer letter! They even gave her a salary of $5k more than she asked for! God really blesses this family!

So things are plugging right along. The next big step will be to find a place to live. We plan on staying here a few more months and taking advantage up the cheap rent so that we can buy things to furnish our new place. I am so excited!! And Aimee is over the moon happy.

In other news, my little angel Makayla will be having surgery next Tuesday. You may remember she was born with a cleft lip and had surgery to repair when she was just 4 months old. This operation is a minor one to bring her upper lip down a little further. I am hoping and praying it will all go well and that it is just a minor procedure as they say it is. I can’t stand to think of her having to go through this but I know it’s for the best. I don’t want her to be teased in school about her lip. She will still need to have further surgery in a few years once her big teeth come in. That will be a major operation and I don’t even want to think about it. So please say a prayer for her. I appreciate it very much.

Our little Leah continues to be a fat and happy little camper. This little butterball LOVES to eat. She went to the Dr. on Monday and now weighs 10 lbs. She was 8 lbs. when she was born and went down to to 7 lbs. 9 oz. before she left the hospital. Well I’m going to stop now and try once again to post pics.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, Ya’ALLLLLLLLLLLL are just beautiful!!!!!!! :*)) Congrats to Aimee and all of you for her brand spankin’ new job. What will she be doing? Congrats on being able to get ya’ll’s OWN place again!!! BigHUgz. ;*) Oh, and yes, I’ll be praying for Makayla’s surgery to go fine and perfectly!!!! love N bighugz.

Yesterday was a good day for long-time job seekers!!! YAY for Aimee!! And what a darlin’ little girl!! I know Makayla is just tickled with her baby sister. You might look tired, but you look happy! AND I love that you’ve posted a picture of YOU. 🙂

Markie has that exact same bouncy chair! lol My brother’s girlfriends little boy was like 6 weeks premature…and was like 2 lbs or something like that..He was only 10 lbs at a year! He’s 9 now..and just now hit 45 lbs! lol

Congratulations Aimee!! So what kind of job did Aimee get?? (Ya never said what it was. lol) You may look really tired, but at the same time you look really happy & smitten with little Leah. For that matter so does Big Sister Makayla. *HUGS*
