Gerb

Baby has the flu and diarrhea.  Her butt is raw from the poop and from being wiped so much, so it burns her booty to pee, too.  There was still a pediatrician (not Dr. Awful, thankfully!) there when we got to the clinic, so we got to see him instead of having to see the Urgent Care general doctor.  We’re pretty sure she must have picked it up from someone at the reunion.  Doc says this could go on for a while.  No meds.  We just have to keep her hydrated and keep an eye on her fever.  If anything gets worse or her fever spikes, we go back.

Went to Mandi’s to help her pack today … and her cat randomly died.  Seriously.  He was fine when I got there.  Fine for over an hour.  Then, he threw up, fell onto his side and died.  He wasn’t an old or sickly cat and there was nothing in his vomit that gave any explanation as to what could have happened.

Not the best day.
