Everything Dump
Lily and I took part in The Great Cloth Diaper Change on Saturday. It’s partly to raise awareness about cloth diapering/another way to be environmentally friendly and partly to try to break a Guinness World Record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously. I met a couple of moms and we got some pretty good swag (a cloth diaper cover, awesome bib, portable cloth changing pad, discount coupons for the place I get Lily’s cloth diapers from, and some other stuff that I can’t think of off of the top of my head). I’m not sure what the number of people in my location was, but we were really packed in. I’m looking forward to seeing the pictures when they go up because Lily is front and center in the group picture. They’re reporting 5271 changes right now, but there are over 100 locations that still need to send in their totals. The record is 8,251 (set last year!). Anyway, it’s weird to be excited about it, but if the record is broken, I can order a certificate from Guinness and put that in Lily’s baby book.
After that, we took Lily to Mandi’s so that we could give the apartment a really good cleaning. It is amazing how much we can get done in a few hours when we don’t have to wrangle Lily. The living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and extra room are sparkling clean. We still have to do the bedroom and Lily’s nursery. The bedroom will be done while Lily naps today and the nursery is always easy. I just need to remember to get a hook for the green thingy we got at Ikea.
One more week until my little stinker is 1. I’m excited. Yesterday, I looked at all the little newborns and I had a hard time believing that Lily was ever so small. I mean, I know she was – I have pictures – but so much has changes in a year. There are times that I long for the days that she was immobile, but she’s so much more fun now. She has a personality. She interacts. She demands hugs. Much better than just being floppy.
I took 4 months worth of pictures off of the camera yesterday. Shame on me. That means I have about 6 months worth of pictures that need printing. I’ll probably get those ordered off of Shutterfly today. I luuuurve Shutterfly, y’all. I do wish you had more freedom with the cards and whatnot, but I’ll get over it. I have a few promo code things on Shutterfly that allow me to get a photobook for free and $20 worth of prints for free. I just have to pay for shipping. I’m okay with that. I’m making a photobook of Lily’s first year, so it’s nice that I don’t have to pay tons of money for it. Hehe.
I love shutterfly too. I only use them when I get a something-free coupon so I only pay shipping, but we have so many prints, big prints, magnets, and a mug! Pretty cool. 1 already? Time flies. Ash and I were watching videos of her as a newborn. Hard to believe it is the same person.

I use Shutterfly too. I love their share pages to keep family updated! Remember those days pre-kids when you could clean the house in like an hour or 2 and then it stayed clean for a whole week??? If I hadn’t lived it I would never believe it now. LOL

Definitely get a certificate from Guinness if you can! That’s so cool.

I agree that the certificate idea is awesome! What a great memory to share with Lily when she’s older! I have a bunch of photos on my camera too. I’m just too lazy to go through them all, lol.

RYN: That’s great to hear of others who have met online and moved. ^_^

RYN: I’ll see if that have that here in Arizona. For the most part, I haven’t really been able to count on my entire family for things. It’s only been pretty recent that my parents have really helped me out.

RYN: Okay then. lol I’ll check it out.
