Day Zero Take Two
Trying this again. Blatantly stole some of these from Avalon (with her blessing)
The 101 Things in 1001 Days Challenge
The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple challenges such as New Year’s resolutions or a ‘Bucket List’. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.

I have SO many comments on this entry. 1) Too bad you started this on the 14th or the meeting an OD person would be checked. 2)If you have a kindle, http://signup.kindleyourday.com/ one new wiki article downloaded to your kindle automatically each day. 3)I love your goals, they are really great and I wish you luck with all of them!

Good luck! I’ve thought about re-trying this, myself.

Yay! I thought about redoing list, but it will take time to think up new stuff. 😀

RYN: Aw! I couldn’t find anything that was the same for the Nook. =( I’ll let you know if I do!

This makes me want to retry this idea. I’d steal a lot from you if I do. ryn: So far we’ve only sampled food, haven’t had as meals yet. I give her something when she’s acting hungry but it isn’t time for milk just yet, usually ends up around lunch time. I’ve noticed she’s more receptive to new flavours if she’s hungry.

i always want to do shit like this but can never can. i have zero follow-through.

I love number 26 and have been thinking about this a lot, oddly enough. We used to do this in elementary school. I never got a response, though. Mine probably got tangled in a power line somewhere. Or eaten by an alligator.

ryn- thank you for the link! I have to buy one of those cloth tape measures but as soon as I do I am going to measure away and then order a bra and hope for the best. I am SO tired of not having anything that fits properly.

ryn- have you read 11/22/63? It’s the newest SK book and part of it takes place in Derry. The town was still creepy. The book (It) scared the crap out of me and I still don’t like to walk near or on top of storm drains, but I didn’t like the movie. I imagined a scarier clown in my head I think. Stephen King is one sicko though, I could never think up all the crazy shit he writes about.
Warning Comment
ryn- it’s not a scary SK book like most of his others… it’s about a guy who finds a way to go back in time and his goal is to stop JFK from being assasinated.
