Bunny
Duckie came back from walking the dog yesterday to inform me that he’d seen a pet bunny outside. He knew it was a pet because of the coloring.
So, I called the apartment office and left a message about having found this obviously lost pet bunny while Duckie went to try to catch it. It took him a few tries, but catch it he did.
Now we have a bunny in our apartment. I put a "found" ad on Craigslist last night and we made signs this morning and posted them all around the apartment complex. We still haven’t heard from anyone. If this bunny isn’t claimed by Thursday when Duckie gets off work, she’s going to have to go to the Humane Society.
Except Duckie is making a little bit of noise about wanting to keep her if no one claims her. I don’t think it’s a good idea – and I’m the girl who begged for a bunny for months (prior to having Lily and Sprocket). With the baby and daycare and formula and whatnot, we just can’t afford a rabbit. The rat cage, while huge for a rat, is no good for a rabbit. She could hang out on the bottom of the cage, but she could never get up the ramps (too narrow). We’d have to buy a new cage and we just don’t have the money to spend on a good one. And who knows if she has medical issues that we’re not aware of.
Oh, but she’s beautiful. And so very sweet. She just loves to be petted. And I do love petting her.
I have some really fun pictures of Lily to share too. We took her to Epic and took pictures of her with some of the crazy stuff there. It’ll be more fun when she can lift her head and/or sit up a little because she won’t just be flopped everywhere.
Taking a nap in the building that Duckie works in. It’s DnD themed. 🙂
Hanging out with the old folks.
The homeless lady on the subway is scary!
By her name and birthdate (look under the big orange M).
I just saw these pictures on FB, and my first thought was “I bet that’s where Duckie works. That place is crazy.” I’m glad I was right! Because otherwise, I don’t know where you people are hanging out … O.o

I’m confused, I thought Duckie worked in a lab of some sort…. Anyway…. Keep the bunny 🙂

Aww, that poor bunny. It’s lucky she didn’t die from fright being lost like that. They scare and die very easily. I hope someone claims her because animals like that don’t last long at the Humane Society. As much as it sucks I agree that it’s best to give her up though because Lily and Sprocket need to come first. It’s hard, I know. *hugs*

I love the pictures!!! Lily’s going to look back at them when she’s grown up and be like ‘damn, I have cool parents’. haha ryn- I have hooks in my laundry room so I already attached a string to the zipper and have it hanging up! I cannot believe I am so excited about something that holds dirty diapers. The old me would not recognize myself. lol
