Woooh Hooo!!

Hey Everyone,

So I think I am giving up posting everything I eat on here. It just gets way too time consuming and I am not sure if anyone was really looking at it anyway. But of course as I write entries I will try and keep you all updatedon my progress. I have found really that I eat rather well, even on days that I do have something that isn’t healthy I manage to not be so far of my goal. I have noticed that when we go out I just won’t eat as much and tend to bring stuff home to eat the next day. Yay for two meals for the price of one. Anyhow, I have lost another 2 pounds, which takes my total to 3.4 pounds lost since the new year!!! I am not seeing it much in my shape but just knowing that I am losing something is great and is keeping me going. I just need to still really work on getting into a fitness routine. Anyone have any suggestions on great work out plans. I have a set of 10 pd. dumbells, a fitness ball, and a resistance band to work with. If you know anything share it and I will see how it goes.

Thursday, my husband and I did a little shopping, looking around at some cameras and what not. We decided that we still really needed to get the cats a new scratching post, one that was tall. Both Tigger and Gracie Like to stretch out and can reach well over the door latch on a door frame when they do stretch. So we headed out to Petland to see what they had. While there we saw the cutest husky. I wanted him so bad, but knew we were not quite ready for a puppy in our apartment. We then headed to the reptile area, it was on the way to the cat supply area. I love most reptiles when they are not out in the wild suprising me. We saw this really cool water dragon and he was only 20.00, so we were like we could do that. We tried to find someone to give us the low down on raising a dragon since neither of us have had one. No one there could answer the question and so we were told to come back the next day when someone who really knew about them would be there. We then looked at the cat posts and didn’t find what we were looking for and definately at a price we were willing to spend. So, we headed home. My husband was really excited about the possibility of getting this water dragon so he started to look up information online to see if it would tell us anything. Well we learned they are a Chineese Water Dragon, aka Jesus Dragon, because they can run so fast that they can walk on water. We learned for the most part taking care of them is really easy, feed then 3 times a week, make sure they get certain vitamins, plenty of water for them to drink and lay in, heat lamps for them to bask in, greanery for them to hide in, and plenty of space. Now the little guy that we looked at was only at the most 12 inches long and most of that was his tail. They apperantly can grow to be 3 feet long, meaning we would need a larger enclosure at some point. My husband decided he would sleep on the idea and that if he was still interested he would go talk to the guy on Friday. So he went back on Friday and talked to the guy who knew a lot and he comfirmed most of what we learned online and said they are very friendly, love to be held, pettted, and walked when they are large enough to do so. He also confirmed the length and that the ones they had in the store were no older then 2 months and that if we started out with a 55 gallon fish tank that after about 9 months we would have to get something larger. Also, it would take about 200.00 to start out and get everything that we would need for the him. We have set the idea aside for a little while, I think we will definately have one of these in the future we just have to wait till we know that we have the space for him to expand. We just right now don’t have a place to put a 6 foot enclosure. Though, I can’t wait to see how our cats feel about it when he becomes 3 foot long, though that still accounts for a good half of him is his tail.

On to the weekend. I worked most of the day Sat. and so by the time I got home my husband had already gone to work. I spent the evening doing some cleaning and playing of video games. My huband came home and we talked for a little while. He helped me some in my game and then we discussed what I wanted to do for my birthday!! Well, at least what I want for my birthday. He has given me options, a cricut, a wii, a new digital camera, and him just shopping for things I like that total what he plans to spend. We have tried to get the Wii several times now and noticed in the ad Sat. night that Circuit City had it advertised this week. Well, I knew that mean getting up early and getting over there to try and get it. So Sunday morning I got up an hour before the store opened and headed over there. My husband had to be at work early so he wasn’t going with me, but he would stop over there before he left and give me some hot coco. I got there and no one was in line yet so I was like till I see someone go up there I am staying in my car, it was -12 degrees. Finally, about 10 mins before the store opened one other guy went up and so I headed out with my coco, my hat, and gloves. We waited and the store opened, we got in and they were like do you have your vouchure slip, we were like they didn’t hand any out. They were like yeah they did, and we hand all that we had out. The guy and I were upset because no one came out to tell us that they handed out the vouchers and they were all out. Apperantly they were handed out at about 8 am. So no Wii, I then tried a few other stores to see if they got shipments in too, but no one had anything. I guess I will just have to keep trying. I then went back to my apartment played some video games, then back out in the cold to go to Micheal’s and Memories and Beyond (which is the store I work at). I was looking for a few new things and one was at the store I worked at and I could get 40% off with a coupon. So first I headed to Micheal’s found some stickers I was looking for, they had a great deal on scissors- 2 for a 1.00, normally 2 dollars each, then I got some small sets of clear stamps, and then a couple of punches. I only ended up spending 12 dollars after tax on 13 items, not bad. I then headed to Memories and Beyond, I needed a new paper cutter since I can’t find new blades for mine, our store had just got a new one in that was Cuttlebug brand, which is a good brand and widely used, that came with 4 different blades for it, straight, perferated, zig zag and scalloped. Now the regular blade normally comes with the product, but the other 3 don’t and in total you would spend 18 dollars alone for those 3 blades on top at least 20 dollars for the cutter and regular blade. I ended up getting the whole thing for 20 dollars after my coupon, what a deal!! I then headed back to the apartment to await the Monaghan’s arrival, they were in town to drop their mother at the airport and were staying downtown. So they decided to come out and see my new place and take me to dinner for my birthday!! They got there and we headed to Buffalo Wild Wings and had dinner. It was nice getting to catch up with them. After dinner they headed back downtown to their hotel and I headed home to play games and wait for my husband to come home. I ended up falling asleep on the couch waiting, finally at 2 am I moved myself to the bed, shortly after my husband walked in the door. He after worked headed to a co-wor

kers place to help keep her company as she sat through a tough day. 3 years ago yesterday her mother passed away and the date is still hard on her, so my husband kept her company for a little while and then another co-worker Twila headed there to stay the night with her.

So that was my end of the week and weekend. Hope all of you had a great weekend, I hope to catch up later. Have a great day!!

i love chinese water dragons. i always hated having them at the pet store though because no one would buy them due to their maintenance(need a big filter to keep the water clean) and size. they recently closed down a reptile forum i go to, but there’s a new one reptileracks.com if you ever want to look into it further.
