The days happenings!!

Hey everyone,

    So I am putting off the anniversary pics at least one more day possibly two, sorry, just other things going on and so I don’t want to spend all the time writing what I had written when other things are going on. So anyway, today was my second day at work. I am currently helping with a project for Advocate Health Care systems. We are doing a basic renovation for them so it is just a matter of putting in the new stuff. The people are great!! Today we had movie lunch. Basically we can request to see a movie and if someone has it they bring it in and we watch it over the lunch hour. What we don’t finish that day we carry on to the next day!! I really like Lisa, she is the draftsperson whom I am going to right now for questions and things to do, she sits right next to me so once in a while we just chit chat as well. Tomorrow people might be headed out after work to go and watch the Cubbies, I think I might join. Though the game doesn’t start till 9pm, so it would be a late night. Today was interesting, I had found out the other day an author that my husband, father and I read was in town. We were looking up some stuff on a site that tends to work with him and noticed he was touring for his new book. Come to find out he was coming to a bookstore not but 3 mins from where I work. So after work today, I went to the bookstore, bought the new book, read the book by him that I am currently in, and then waited for him to show. It was a great question and answer session. He is a really nice guy and very funny. He then spent time signing books for those that wanted them signed. So I had him sign the new one I just bought and the one that I was currently reading. This was the first book signing I have ever been too, so it was pretty cool. I also got a picture taken with him so that was great. Well, other than that not too much is going on, I will leave you with a the few pics that I took and had taken at the book signing. Oh and the Author was R.A. Salvatore, he writes fantasy, mainly about a character named Drizzt, as well as many other books too.  Sorry so blurry, they were taken on my camera phone.
