MIA no longer!
Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven’t been on lately it was onw busy weekend. And this week will be busy as well, I can’t wait for next week because it will finally be a time to rest. I figured I would get on and at least tell you what I have been up to the last few days and then I will give you a more detailed update later with pictures. After work on Thursday I headed out as fast as I could so that I could meet up with all the girls for the bachlorette party for Raeann. We started at Hacienda and then headed to her apartment for games and dancing. It was a blast. I headed out around 11 pm so that way I could get some sleep before my appointment in the morning on Friday. Friday I woke up headed to the bank, got some food and headed to my appointment. The appointment went well and I will know results in about two weeks for the blood test. I will tell more of this in my longer entry. I then headed over to the hospital to meet up with a good friend for lunch, we just ate in the cafeteria. After lunch I recieved a phone call telling me that the company PHN Architects were going to have to reschedule with me because they had a last minute board meeting with the park districts come up, I said it was fine. I then headed out to see Lindsey and to go shopping. It is always fun getting to hang out with her and I knew it would be the last time for a little while. We headed to the mall and a few other stores, but I couldn’t find a nice summer shirt for the wedding, so I decided just to wear what I had. While shopping I recieved another phone call from another firm to set up an interview. I am truely excited. We then headed back to her apartment and then when they left for their dinner date I headed out to Pages in Time. Shortly after I headed over to Chili’s where I was to meet my hubby and our friend Jacob for dinner. Later after dinner Lindsey and Troy met up with us for dessert and drinks. After the dessert and drinks we headed to play putt putt. It was so much fun, I am so glad I have such a great group of friends that I can go out and just be myself and have fun with. After Putt Putt we said goodbye to Jacob and my husband and I headed back to Lindsey’s to get a baker’s rack from them. We stood around and talked for a little while and then we finally said our good-byes, though they were more like see you later, I know she will be back again and get to hang out with just me :). We then headed home for some much wanted sleep. Sat. we woke up, got dressed, went to breakfast, then right to lunch, and then to the wedding. It was a pretty simple ceremony and reception. I love my friend dearly and she will always be my best friend, but it was kind of a boring wedding, though I know she will always know it was special for her and I am so happy she has found someone to be so happy with. After the wedding we headed over to my husbands mother’s house and visited for a little while. We then went back to my parents. We found out my sister and Nic had bought a Wii, yay!! So the 6 of us, my sister, nic, my parents, my husband and I headed out for some food at Between the Buns. After dinner my sister, Nic, hubby and I headed over to Nic’s to play the Wii, however, our friend Mike was having a date and arrived shortly after wanting to watch a movie, we said it was fine and we would just head over to my parents to play. His date seemed to be going well and we didn’t want to ruin it. We headed to my parents and played the Wii, Mario Party 8, it was so much fun, even my parents were laughing at us. We then headed to bed later that night. My husband got up early to go to a Nascar Race with Jacob and I was up early to head to church. The race got canceled, my parents and I went to a movie, and then we all meet up for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I finished a load of laundry, my husband headed out before me, then I headed out a little later to finally come back to Chicago. It was a long but great weekend.
Ok so this ended up longer then I expected, and this wasn’t even the LONG version. Well, I had better get to work, unfortunately they are not paying me to be on the computer to write. HA HA. Hope all is well and hopefully soon I will note, I think that I have at least finally caught up on all the reading, now I will just go back and note. Have a Beautiful day everyone!!
