Is anyone normal out there?

So today i made a call to the departments mananger about a database that was being updated by someone other than our secretary and in the end she sent out this email:

Effective today the Advising Center will be responsible for all information coming from their area – (all letters, data base, forms, etc.) – please transfer any folders or information over to Olivia that you are holding –

Well needless to say Olivia was VERY angry( still is) with me. She said”See she what you did”, as if i did it intentionaly. Trust me there is not much more that she will need to do. Her duties involved creating files, pulling files, answering the phone, and making copies..all that she will do thats different is print out letter..WOW, big woop!!
I can tell she’s upset..but hey it wasn’t my call! And what do we pay her for..to be on Myspace or do her homework as sh ehas been doing?? I think not…
Why is she taking this so personal..i’m getting the one word answers from her..arrrgh! Whatever! Why can’t we ever get a normal secretary!!
