heyyy.

im just, procrastinating. or maybe waiting to figure out what to do.

it’s snowing. actually, not badly. it snowed over night and is expected to keep snowing. we are supposed to go to matt’s parent’s cottage on the finger lakes (where they are getting like, a foot and a half) but we’re a little worried the snow is going to keep us from going. we’re still packing and such as if we’re going. well. we’re supposed to be.

i have to pack, and really it’s only for 2 days so there’s not THAT much to do (except when you have a baby. like i do.) but i’m feeling lazy and this never-ending stream of snow is making me want to snuggle up in my bed with my snuggie and a book and…do nothing.

the schools around here have a snow day.

i got my "bonus". i think i mentioned this before? we ended up getting our federal & state tax returns at the same time matt got his bonus from work. a lot of it went directly into savings for our house (like 8 grand), two accounts were paid off (our best buy card and matt’s lasik surgery – that freed up $200 a month which is just, pimp!), and then there was $500 left. since this is our ONLY time to somewhat enjoy ourselves considering we’re going to be burdened with a mortgage again very soon, matt decided to let us have a little play money. i mean, i think it’s pretty reasonable considering how much we were able to put away for a house and then paying off debts, which are our first two priorities. matt split the $500 between us. he bought new golf clubs. me? i do not know.

i thought about buying a mess of cricut cartridges, but to be honest while i want them ALL there’s none that i’m like….overly itching to have at the moment. maybe two of them? but even if i got them it might cost me $50  because there’s some pimp sales going on and ebay is always awesome. what to do with the other $200?

OR….i could buy the PINK cricut expression (the big one) – which will cost me about $250 exactly.

OR….i could buy a mess of spring & summer clothes.

OR…i could stash it away, save a bit from each pay check, and hunt down a deal on an SLR.
