my joann’s order. and i’m half bummed, because my suspicions were correct and they cancelled the paper stack i ordered. they just don’t have it anymore. BOO! it was super cute. totally sad. i wonder if ebay has it……  hmm.

at least i saved $8 and still got my free shipping?

you know what’s funny? to me at least. matt is totally all for my scrap supply obsession. in fact he encouraged me to shop as smartly as i could for groceries & diapers and things so that i can hoard the rest for supply shopping. AND, we’re due to get our tax return around the same time as his yearly bonus, and while we plan to pocket just about all of it for house shopping – he said he’s going to give me my own "bonus" and he’s encouraging me to use it on scrap supplies.

he is so gung-ho about my blog. i wouldn’t exactly call it strange, but it’s so interesting to me why THIS particular endeavor of mine (i seem to have a never ending string of them….) is standing out to him. he even said that if he ends up with some extra time off, he’d consider spending a few days "whoring me out" as he put it (nice) and contacting companies to sponsor me. i have no idea why he wants it to succeed so much, but it definitely keeps me motivated!

as a result of this, i’ve started wishlists (yes plural) for things i’m going to collect with my "bonus". there are a lot of things i’m still missing in order to catch up to all of the "big time" bloggers, and i want to be as professional as i can so….i need that crap! 🙂

anyway, even though my joann’s order shipped it says it won’t be here til the 4th. why a week??? last time it came 2 days earlier than it said it would, so it will probably be more like 4 days….but still. sloooooooow. and my other order still hasn’t even PROCESSED. their site was saying orders ship in 3-5 days….today would have been day 6, so i checked the site and it changed to say 4-6 days. that’s fantastic, but today is STILL day 6 so get on it!!!

lol…….that is so incredibly boring to read. i’m sorry. though i know hillary is probably like I KNOW!!!!! lol  she knows what’s up 😉

i’m in the process of uploading & editing my v-day card tutorial right now. i’m exciiiited. my first tutorial! squueeeee. (leesha, i’ll do this one naked for you 😉 just kidding. maybe.)  i also have a video uploading. if you’ve read my family blog at all, you may remember a post about taking lame videos of luke just mildly playing with his toys. i do this from time to time so that i can watch how his "play time" has evolved over time. you never think these boring moments will matter later on, but when i re-watch these videos i am SO thankful i have them. it’s probably boring for anyone other than me to see, but ya know. i took one this morning of him playing. super cute. at one point he attacks the camera and then fake laughs when i laugh at him. and, he woofs when i ask him what a dog says. (the hilarious part is when i played it back for him…he LOVES to watch himself….when he heard me say that on camera he woofed along with himself again lol). i also get him to flash me a smile, and wave bye-bye at the end. his mood is FINALLY improving after this sickness and i think you can see that in the video.

it’s going to take, like, a decade to upload though. i use this vimeo site becuase it’s just….nice, and organized, and it’s not the crazy community youtube is so i feel better about having my baby’s videos posted somewhere less…insane. but i don’t have a paid membership so they put you in this ridiculously long processing line after it’s uploaded. so you wait 10-15 mins for the upload (if it’s a big video like this one is….it’s like 2.5 minutes), and then you wait about an HOUR for it to process. sometimes more. its gay. so that will appear SOMETIME today.

okay. i do have a couple pictures to share, too…but i need to get this post over with. i’ll be baaaaack.
