ohh edward.

Total New Moon hangover.

Last night was actually, painless. There was a line at Walmart (where we HAD to go to get the 7 minutes of Eclipse, which turned out to be more like 6 minutes of documentary, 1 minute of a scene that lacked the emotion I envisioned it having), but it wasn’t a ridiculous turnout. We stood in line for about 5 minutes, they let us in early and had it organized very well. The cashiers were well-oiled machines. It was so simple that my head was on my pillow by 12:30.

When we got up this morning, we watched Twilight. We didn’t need to give it our full attention since we’d both seen it more times than would be considered healthy (ha) and waited for Luke to nap to watch New Moon. Sweet boy slept through the whole thing 🙂  We even had time to watch a few extra features. I so so love Edward. I’m looking forward to Eclipse & Breaking Dawn when he has more confidence in their relationship as a "needs to happen" thing rather than a "shouldn’t happen as much as I want it to so I’m going to be all insecure and not sure of myself enough to be lighthearted to any extent". My favorite parts are when you see the REALness (which is funny considering the example I’m about to use) in their flirty banter, like when they talk about him being 109 years old and she should be totally grossed out by that. Well, that, and their reunion scene in Italy because….hello. The electricity in that scene is ridiculous. I had chills through the entire thing despite seeing it before. UGH. Edward. Swooooooon

Anyway, I went from not having a full-night’s sleep to sitting stagnant most of my morning while inhaling a number of not-good-for-me Twilight marathon treats and now I feel like garbage. Matt was golfing all day (and just took a quick trip to BJ’s for diapers & wipes) and Gabby just left – and since the baby is on nap #2 I desperately need a shower to wash away this slothy hangover. I feel like the only way to fix this is that, and then a brisk walk or something.

I’m really itching to take a trip to Lowe’s or Home Depot this evening to collect some paint samples for the house (I’m starting to get visions for most of the rooms – the dining room is still up in the air, though). But….Matt has to put in a few hours of work, as well as do laundry for Charlotte this week and we have to dig up our paperwork for our loan processing. So it probably won’t happen. Boo. I need to shake this funk…shower time.

Hahah I love this entry. I need to get that movie and have a similar lazy day. Question: Has Matt watched either of the movies? And if so what was his opinion? I managed to get Spencer to watch Twilight with me… except he ended up falling asleep right when Bella is about to go into the ballet studio to James… yeesh!
