2009 running total:  12357 pages

So, those are all the books I read in 2009 for the first time. I’m only counting first-time reads in my book count. My min goal for the year was 30, my over-the-top goal was 50. I obviously accomplished the first, and then since we moved back home I crapped out big time. Partially because I have an actual life in Buffalo, and partly because…I’m in love with Edward Cullen.

I read the Twilight series at the end of 2008 so they didn’t count towards this year. However, I re-read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse twice in 2009. I read Breaking Dawn once (I’m on read #3 now). I’m counting the pages as read (because they were), but not in my book total. SO.

New Pages Read: 12,357
Twilight Pages Read: 4,134 (i pulled the page totals off good reads, they might be slightly off)
Total Pages Read: 16,491

Pretty good! I wanted to increase my book & page numbers each year (at least slightly) but I don’t think I’m going to set that goal. I’m not sure I can accomplish that in the coming year with a toddler, my sister’s wedding, house hunting, and ttc-ing #2 at the end of the year. I am going to shoot for 30 books again, though.

Favorites from this year? 9, 10, 11, 16, 24, 28, 29, & 33.

<– real entry that way.

Wow. I wish I had time to read half that amount. I’ve got a wish list going, but I think I’ll add your favourites (at least the ones I haven’t already read) to my list. I love getting into new books, so thanks for this entry!
