Venue??

We have an appointment on Sunday to view the potential venue.  Its a real steal if I do say so myself.  The date we originally wanted is already booked so right now it looks like it will be July 21, 2007.  First some pictures, then the details on the deal.

Anyways, its 35 acres, has a 1/2 acre swimming pond, 2 6 acre lakes.  Here, read this from their website.

Plus it has a gazebo for the ceremony.  The banquet hall can hold 250 people, with a dance floor and huge kitchen so we can cater or do our own food.  They do allow drinking.  Heres the floor plan of the guest house thing.

Which will be GREAT for Stephens family.  Some of the family may want to stay in hotel, but the others may want to stay here, plus we are paying for them so they might as well.  Im thinking Stephen and his boys can stay in the private quarters the night before the wedding and me and the girls at the house. We shall see.

Anywho……we get all this for the ENTIRE weekend, Friday-Sunday for only $2300.  That really is a fucking deal if I do say so myself.  Thats what it would cost at most venues just for the one night by itself and you dont even get it the whole night, only a few hours.  Plus we got a place for family to stay.  Works out great!!!  Cant wait to go see in on Sunday.  I hope we like it!!  Im excited.

Ive talked with a photographer, were getting a really great deal.  10×13 bridal, engagement pictures, ceremony, full reception for just $530 bucks.  Another fking steal!!  That doesnt include sheets, but they are pretty damn cheap too.  We could include the sheets if we wanted.  Oh yeah and proofs online for anyone to order from!!

Ive gotten a quote on the cake I want.  About $250 for a 3 tier.
