Some News

Had an interview yesterday.  Feel pretty confident about it.  The position isnt officially open yet, the paper work hasnt been done.  I applied for a different position but the lady saw my resume and thought I would be perfect for this other position.  Took an IQ test and 3 data entry tests.  Made one mistake on my last data entry because my finger hit 2 keys at once, went to correct it and my time ran out.  As for the IQ test, not sure how I did with that.  Interviewed with 2 people.  The boss is going to be out of town Mon & Tues, he still has to talk with 2 other people and officially open the position but I expect to hear from him on Weds.  I was so depressed when I last wrote, but I got home and shortly after got that call and started to feel alot better.

I went shopping yesterday, got a new pair of shoes, 4 new shirts, 4 pairs of earrings, new purse and Stephen & I new phones.  (They were free).  I needed clothes for a 2nd interview and potentially a new job so I did that.  Everything I bought was ridiculously on sale.  A $30 shirt for $6……..cant beat that.  I did pretty good and didnt even realize all those sales were goin on.

Have a funeral to go to later today.  A family friend.  Very sad & hard to believe she is gone.  She was roommates with this guy for years, he was in worse shape than she was.  This past year he took a turn for the worse, I always expected him to pass first.  She got sick last week, they found out she had cancer that had spread (I think, dont remember all the details) and they gave her 5 days to live. She lasted exactly 5 days.  Passed on Thursday.  Very sad.  She is like a 2nd grandma to one of my bridesmaids. 

Next weekend is my great aunts 90th birthday party.  Cant believe she is that old.  Then again we have always said she is going to outlive us all, which is true thus far. 

Tomorrow Stephen has to move a couch for his partner.  After that we are meeting with a potential photographer.  She’s been nice and helpful.  She knows I just lost my job and is doing everything she can to help out.  Great prices.

I guess thats about all to report for now.  Cant think of anything else.  I am feeling slightly better with the idea of possibly having a job.  Since this upcoming week does start week 4 of being jobless.
