Post Surgery Update

I’m very excited to announce that I had my surgery this morning and everything went smoothly.  Honestly the worst part was the IV and bit of pain I had afterwards.  I didnt feel anything the doctor did.  Infact I was laying there for a while looking at this bright worm like object move around so I asked what it was "Thats me, Im already inside your eye"  I laughed and said WOW.  It was quite an interesting experience to say the least.  I was worried for nothing and it was nothing like I’d imagined it would be.  The surgery took 20 minutes and I was out the door within the next 15.  As soon as I walked out I was AMAZED at the difference, it feels almost like I have 20/20 vision, and thats just with one eye complete.  I cant imagine how it will be after I get the second one done.
 
Oh, and my Stephen proposed to me after the surgery.  Hehehe.  What a great day!!  The ring is gorgeous, nice and simple just like me.  He did a great job and was worried about it for NOTHING.
 
I feel like celebrating.  What a great day this has been.  I probably shouldnt though, not tonight, need to take it easy.   Good thing Rachels birthday party is tomorrow!!!!  Perhaps I will write a little more in depth about the surgery experience later when my eye feels a bit better.  It doesnt really hurt right now, just feels a little bit off.  I feel funky but I can see!!!
