*****OctoPhoMo Day 4*****
4th – Crazy clothes/socks/hat -OR- Something related to breast cancer in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Pink/ pink ribbons represent breast cancer)
Back story:
My son turned 1 year 2 days after my grandmother, Nana, turned 70. I had the bright idea that we’d invite her to his 1st birthday party and instead surprise her with a 70th birthday party. Everything came together nicely.
This is the picture of most of our family…all that’s missing is my dad, aunt, cousin, my other cousins son, and my brother-in-law (you can barely see the top of my uncles head behind my cousin but he is there). Other than that, here we are.
Nana is in the middle with the white shirt, she has 3 children, which gave her 7 grandchildren (I am the oldest), and 5 (and counting) great grandchildren. She is very blessed……..not to mention a breast cancer SURVIVOR!
Love you Nana!!
Oh, and as a side note, I mentioned she has 7 grandchildren, 6 girls and 1 boy. As of right now, she has 5 greats, 4 boys and 1 girl, looks like the next generation is going the opposite way. 🙂
She is very blessed!
