*****NYC Pics*****

These first pics are of Stephen’s ambulance, a rock or something flew up at him his first day back on the job.  Isnt that fun!

Here’s his birthday cake.  It’s pink, it was all they had left.  Anywho, when I arrived in NY he informed me that his mom was planning a party for his birthday on New Years.  His birthday is actually tomorrow.  Anywho, I had to take a deep breath because he had just basically told me I would be meeting the ENTIRE family.  Previously it was just his brothers, parents and a few friends.  Now I have to meet EVERYONE.  Great, here I am in a strange city meeting EVERYONE for the first time all at one time.  The funny part is, the whole time before we went up there he kept saying how it wouldnt be so bad because I would just be meeting everyone in spurts unlike him, he had to meet my family all at once.  Ummm ok…….well he owes me big time, because I did end up meeting everyone at once and FYI, he only met 6 people from my family.  I dare not even count how many I met of his.

They were getting ready to do the cake and his mom was telling him to give me the camera to take pictures, as soon as he handed it off to me he went to blow out the candles, look I got his cheeks all puffed out.  I edited the pic to cut out the family because I dont have their permission to post their pics.

I was so lost the entire time, so I couldnt tell you where these pics were taken, but Stephen says every year they pretty much go to war with their Christmas decorations.  They are across the street from each other.  It was very pretty.

This first pic is of a house that isnt one of the 2 that goes to war, they just happend to be on the same block.

Same with this tree, just happened to be on the same block.  I thought it was awesome, every little twig on the tree had a light on it.

This is one of the houses at war.  This one just had too much randomness to it and Stephen and I both agree that it lost this years war.

This was the other house. The one Stephen and I liked the best.  Everything was animated.  The carousel, the toy soldiers and the reindeer up on the balcony were swaying back and fourth.

This was the first night we spent in the city.  The day before New Years Eve.  People were already all over the place, they had half the roads blocked so you couldnt turn down them, we didnt get to park and walk and just for the record Im half glad we didnt.  There were WAY too many people.

I told Stephen not to take pictures through the windshield, but he did.

This Mc Donalds was sooooo lit up.  It was CRAZY!

When I saw this I couldnt help but giggle.  Stephen says he didnt know it was there, must be fairly new or something.  Any of you who are a fan of the movie know this was just great.

I wanted to go into this store.  Stephen told me to get out of the car and go in since we were just sitting in traffic, but I told him I REFUSED to get out of the car and walk the streets of NYC alone without him.  I may be dumb but Im not THAT dumb!!

I think we were in Brooklyn when he took this picture.  Im blind as hell and he took me out on a pier to show me the statue.  Ofcourse I couldnt see it, I thought I might be looking at it, but wasnt sure.  It wasnt until I looked at this pic that I realized I was looking at the right thing.  He tried to get me closer to her, but there was no such luck.  Next time we will go when its warmer and take the boat ride out there.  Either way its a pretty pic.

He tried to snap pictures of me left and right but everytime I was 2 seconds faster and got my head turned.  I HATE pictures.  Im in my frog pj’s ready for bed.  Or just waking up, who knows.  ::Shrugs::

Anywho, thats all the pics I have, he mostly took pics of his family and Im not posting those.  I promise to get more pics of the city the next time I go.  I mailed his mom a thank you card yesterday, its the least I could do.  She was very sweet to me, made sure I had Cherry Pepsi to drink, bought me reesee’s lots of different things that she didnt have to do, so the least I could do was say thanks, right?  When I got there his family had all kinds of gifts for me, they didnt have to do that, but it was sweet of them.  I’ll take a picture of the ring Stephen got me and share it with you guys. 

Overall his family was good and I had a good time.  We went

out one night, had a little too much to drink, it was the first time either of us had seen each other really drink.  That was a fun night.  We went souviner shopping for my family in the village.  We went to the Muesum of Sex.  I would suggest not going there.  We went shopping in gay porn shops by accident.  LOL, it was fun though.  Let’s see, what else, oh we had a bum practically crawl into Stephens lap in the car begging for money, see, thats why I wouldnt get out of the car without him.  We did lots of little things, I enjoyed my stay there and maybe if Im lucky, he will invite me back up another time.

While we were there we had a little bit of an issue, which I wont go into.  I will only say that I was terribly hurt and I told him if I have to feel that way again, I was out the door.  No if ands or buts about it. 

Maybe I’ll think of something more to say about the trip later.  Something more interesting.

On a side note, my sister and her little family moved out while I was gone.  To this shit hole, crack infested trailer park.  How can my sister be that stupid, how can she even think about bringing her son up in that environment.  I havent seen or heard from her since Ive been back, actually I havent seen or heard from her in a week.  I could go on and on about this but I wont, for now at least.

Tomorrow is Stephen’s birthday, Im taking him to the monster truck show and dinner if he wants.  I know what I want to get him for his birthday but I cant afford it right now so he will just get a card for now.  I was talking to Anthony yesterday about the gift and he and I concluded that it would be best to take Stephen and have him pick it out himself, so I think I will do that.  It wont be as much of a surprise, but oh well.  ::Shrugs::  At least this way I know it will be what he wants.
