Memorial Day Weekend Excitement
So, I spent all day Friday making copies, flew outta here 15 minutes before I had to be at the place for my brothers graduation. My boss said he needed all the copies done by Friday so as I was leaving I told him I would come back Saturday morning to finish to which he replied "thats ok I put a few extras in there for the elders meeting that Im not going to need for 2 weeks" I was PISSED!!! First of all its not my actual work, its for his church and because I missed a day and a half working on that I am now way behind on my actual work. Anyways, brothers graduation went great, didnt cry like I thought I would. I cant believe it, we are all grown up now, its sad. So after that Stephen and I went to my house before I had to be up at my brothers project graduation to volunteer. We thought people would be coming back to the house, but we had the house to ourselves so we snuck in a quicky, boy was that fun and MUCH needed. He drove me back up to the school and I joined up with my mom. Project graduation was pretty good, kinda lame compared to mine, but pretty good. We left there around 6:30, got home, put stuff up and crawled into bed. Around 9 I heard an explosion then 2 more small explosions, I thought my dad had just done something so I started to drift back off to sleep, after all, I had been up for 24 hours straight, no nap, no nothing, plus sex in between which always makes me tired. Then someone starts pounding on our door, Im wondering who the fk it is and why the hell they are banging on the door like that. I get up and go see, I see my neighbor running back into her yard and I hear her mom yelling at her dad "Dennis its on fire!" I yelled at the daughter and she told me her dads garage was on fire. I ran to the back and woke my mom up, told her the shop had exploded then called 911, the wife had already called 911 and when I called they dispatched a second fire station. By 9:30 the shop was gone. My neighbor is a race car driver, he had just got his car running good and the Saturday before had won the title of the #1 Street King, a saught after title for the racers in our area…..he had been winning trophies for about 3 races in a row. Inside the shop was that car, along with racing fuel, oxygen, nos, a welding torch and over 1000 rounds of ammunition for his guns. Not to mention everything else in there. These were just the dangers of the fire, there were several explosions after the first 3 and one more really big one, plus you could hear the ammunition going off, sounded like firecrackers popping inside. It makes me sick. Around 1 I finally got to go lay back down after all the excitement, mind you, Im working on 2 hours of sleep after being up for 24. Then around 2:30ish I hear my dad yell something and I hear someone starting to open my door, I look up and its my Stephen!! I was soooooo happy to see him. We stayed the rest of the weekend at mom and dads, he helped Dennis all weekend long. We got our boat running and played in it for a bit in dads pond. Me mom and my nephew went fishing for a bit on Sunday, then Monday we took the bait trap back there to see what we could catch. The last time I threw it out my string on it broke, so I had to crawl into the pond and dig it out. I caught about 10 baby cats, which means in about a year they will be ready to eat. We also saw one big ass cat, his whiskers had to have been about a quarter inch thick, if not more. Ok, Ive rambled quite a bit, I will go now. Enjoy yourself.
Oh and by the way, Stephen did an AWESOME job cleaning up the room yesterday, it looks perfect and made me happy that I didnt have to go home and clean, I wasnt looking forward to that.
This is the car a week ago…..
This was last weekend when he won the street king title, the trophy and all the money. He has 2 weeks to get something up and running to defend his title, that is, if the guy who runs the show isnt a jack ass.
This was saturday morning about a half hour after the firmen left, if you look close, in 2 pics, you can see the car
Very tragic!!! My idea is this just saved my neighbor. Usually something minor goes wrong with the car, he fixes it and puts it on the track. I think that this time it would have been something more serious, maybe he would have had a horrible crash and nothing would have stopped him from getting on that track. The only way to stop him and save him was to get rid of the car. Make sense? It does to me!
thank you so much for your latest note! it makes so much sense thanks im going to take most of your advice lol! the part about leon i think im still going to try for but yes im going to enjoy being my own person but then be ready to surrender that when i find someone worth surrendering for!laura xxxxx
