Childish Gaming…..

We stayed up till midnight playing Super Mario Bros 3 on NES.  We were playing 2 players, and for any of you who have ever played the game, you take turns beating the levels, working your way through the worlds.  Some levels we both had a hard time on, but eventually got past.  The room was filled with high fives, giggles, and frustration all at the same time.  It was great fun.  Im soooo crazy about him.

 

Saturday was Stephen’s 26th birthday, happy birthday to the old guy!

 

Saturday I took him to the monster truck show for his birthday.  Maybe when he gets the film developed he will let me share some with you guys.  I had a great time, he says he did to.  The seats were perfect, the only real issue were the people around us.  Out of 16 trucks, only 2 MAYBE 3 survived.  The rest blew their stuff up or rolled over.  Before we got there, I kept saying how I hoped it wasn’t a lame show, I wanted to see some roll over and stuff.  Guess what, I got what I wanted and more.

Friday night I treated everyone to dinner.  I didn’t want Stephen to pay since it was his birthday dinner.  Craig was going to get the wait staff to sing to him, Stephen hates that-hes shy, but they said they were too busy so they just brought him a chocolate shake.  Kind of a downer, but oh well.  After that the 4 of us went to Main Event to bowl.  Had LOTS of issues there.  Stephen paid for it, and that kinda irked me but by then it was too late.  I wish I would have known he was paying for it, I would have stepped in and paid for it.  Despite all the drama, we had fun. 

Sunday we went to my house, my dad called to tell me Justin was there, I hadn’t seen him since before I left for New York so I HAD to go see him.  We stayed there till late, played monopoly, mom totally kicked ass.  Got back to his house and I played SMB 3 till midnight.  That was the extent of my weekend.  Im exhausted.  It was a very long weekend full of late nights.  I still haven’t fully recovered from the NY trip, now I have this weekend on top of that.

For some reason, for the past week, my phone hasn’t been wanting to hang up, I have to hit the hang up button like 10 or 12 times before it hangs up.  Whats up with that? 

 

My boss has no money right now, not even enough to pay me.  I was supposed to get paid yesterday, luckily a check came in from an appraisal that was just enough to cover my paycheck, with a little extra left over.  So, I got paid this week, but who knows about next week.  He cant afford to pay our MLS dues which means we cant complete the most critical part of the appraisal, finding comparable sales.  MLS is the listing service that has all the comps, if we cant pay them, we don’t get access to that information.  With out a comp, how can you come up with a value for a property, you cant!  I sent out notices to people who owe us money yesterday and Debbie contacted the BBB about a few VERY past due accounts.  Hopefully money will start rolling in here soon or Im really out of a job.  To top it all off, business is as slow as it was in March, when my boss ‘forced’ me to use my vacation time because there was no work for me to do here.   If anything, these 2 issues alone, are enough for me to need a new job.
