Cakes and Friends and Swimming!

So mostly I’ve been really busy lately! I should really be working on Avon at the moment, but I just got the second of 2 girls to sleep, so I’m taking a moment. *breathe*

We’ve had visitors over the last 2 weekends (for long weekends too) so I’m really looking forward to this long weekend! It was great having Jason up the one week, then having Annmarie, Rob and Damin up the next week. Well, Jason stayed Sat night to Weds midday, and then the other arrived Friday and left Monday. So yes, all go.

And I also managed to get my Spongebob and Doll cakes made for Seth and Lily, they loved them! I especially LOVED Lily’s face when I dropped her cake off to her, it was so full of joy! Amazing. I really have fun making these cakes, but it can get a bit stressful. I just have to make appointments from now on with the hubby, to bake them 2 nights ahead, and decorate the night before. Or else buy a chest freezer, spend 2 days straight baking and fill it with cakes LOL.

Otherwise, just cleaning and babies and cake class and visiting the inlaws. Oh and Avon. I’m so tired 😛

I really want to do something silly for my grandma, which is bake her a cake or some cupcakes, then decorate them allll pretty, and then take pics of the baking, then take pics of our family waving, then take pics of us eating her cake! Because of course, she’s in the states. But I just don’t think I can do another cake this week. I’ll have to do one for Sue (mother in law) maybe for her birthday on the 28th.

What I really should be doing at the moment is making my price list and working on a flyer for my baking. BUT I think that takes too much effort for the moment LOL. I will take like 2 hours this weekend to just sort it, then I can get started with the promoting!

PS So I realised I didn’t say anything about swimming. Ella is taking swimming lessons every friday! Today we went swimming, and she went under the water for the first time! SHE WAS SO GOOOOD!! I was so sure she’d inhale water and I’d have to take her out of the pool to throw up, but she went under…..and came up smiling! She went under more times than I can count today, and just LOVED it! We’re going swimming in the morning with daddy and auntie brenda and I’m so going to show off her mad skills!!
