So tomorrow I turn 30.

This is my last entry as a 20 something, lol.

I still think I’m crazy for being so obsessed about it, in my heart I know it’s just a number, but my head just keeps spinning!

So let’s see.

Sunday I went to church, which was great, but really hard. It was all about temples and forever families. I cried a lot. But still went home happy, because church does that. Weird eh? The girls both wore their pettiskirts so were super duper cute, I so love having girls to make pretty!!

Monday it actually snowed here in Nelson, though for anywhere that it normally snows, it would have been a non-event. Here, it’s like snow flurries in LA, it just doesn’t happen. SO that was kinda nifty.

Tuesday Alister took a half day at work, because we had another ultrasound. The good news is that it’s still a boy, lol. Funny how a certain few people are now getting more excited because we are having a boy. I’m letting myself get more excited about a son since it’s been thoroughly confirmed!

I went through all of my baby clothes and found a surprising number of boys clothes or gender neutral. Filled a baby bath actually, though sizes were spread out through the first year.

Anyway, Alister also came with me to take Ella to kindy, and then picked her up. I think he really enjoyed it 🙂 She certainly was showing off for daddy!! She just got her new backpack to take with her, and she recognizes her name so she had a great time showing daddy exactly what she was supposed to do at kindy.

Today was a very busy day. Annabelle had a checkup with the plunket nurse, and she’s very tall and with good weight. She’s 12.2kg, while her big sister (14 mos difference) is 14.4kg. My big kids!! Very good that they are so big and healthy, I love it!

Then after lunch we had to take Ali back to work, then we headed over to the midwife. Poor Ella wasn’t feeling well (constipated, poor poppet), and she wasn’t happy about being strapped in! But they were so good at the midwife, and we got to hear the baby’s heartbeat and all is well!

I was told I need to take it easy, since I’ve been having more pain than I remember from prev pregnancies. She said it was normal since the muscles are weaker, and to take the pain as a signal to chill!! Will work on that 😉

Today I want to remember how sweet my Ella is, she just LOVES her momma!! She climbed up in bed next to me and was babble talking to me, then turned away, and I pretended to be asleep. When she turned back and saw my closed eyes she Laughed and laughed, and promptly climbed on top of me, bounced, and patted my cheeks, gave me a kiss and giggled some more. So I tickled her of course! She has a sweet high pitched voice and a sweet laugh, and I just love it!!

Annabelle is a bit clingy to me still, where as soon as she sees me, she wants me to pick her up! Today she was toddling after me while I was trying to get things together, and wanted to be picked up! So I picked her up, swung her around, and gave her a big raspberry on the cheek! She giggled and smiled and threw herself back, then when I stopped spinning she cuddled in and put her head on my shoulder. I hugged her back and just reveled in the love! It’s so easy to get lost in what we need to get done, I’m trying so hard to take the moments and enjoy them while I can!!

The other cute thing, was Anna was fussing, and Ella came Running in, and gave her sister a big hug!! Anna grinned and actually hugged her back! Then Ella tried to give her a kiss and Anna pushed her away, haha. They are such great girls 🙂

Off to bed with a smile on my face….half an hour left of my twenties!! lol
