Today I slept in for AGES because it was so lovely to not have any cakes to make, no plans to attend to. I woke up and was feeling so good, and then went to the lounge to realise Ella had gotten up without me, and got into some pictures of Alister’s….that were *ahem* of me. Taken as a special present years ago, and NOT for children’s eyes (nothing revealing, lol. Just sexy). Anyway, I don’t think she was overly interested in them, as they were just spread out and abandoned, but I told ALi we must find a permanent hiding spot for them. I don’t want to throw them out because I’ll never look that good again! hahaha….

Anyway, had a chill morning with my girls, then after they went down for their naps, I had a super productive clean out of the kitchen….which was awesome! Very good therapy! When the girls woke up, they were so excited, they wanted to play in the kitchen. Ella sat at the table putting things into her little purse, taking them out and spreading them out on the table, then putting them away again. Anna wanted to sit on the bench seat under the window and just look out into the backyard. 🙂 It was a lovely afternoon.

Then this evening I made us some BLT’s. We haven’t had them in ages, so I’ve been dreaming of them all day! Well we had some budget bacon….and after it was cooked up it didn’t look or smell like bacon….so I did an emergency grocery run for proper bacon, and then it was perfect! We really enjoyed the meal.

After dinner, since it’s very cold, Ali and I just cuddled on the couch, and fielded attention from the girls. They would wander around playing with this and that, then one or the other would hone in on us and want cuddles, or juice, or just attention. It was really adorable. Annabelle kept coming back to growl at us (rawr rawr rawr rawr rawr), since she loved having us do it back to her. Ella was a bit more cuddly, and spent a bit of time just laying on my side. She thinks kisses are hilarious at the moment, so we had a few minutes in there where she would “Mmmmmmm” waiting for a kiss…then I would “mwah” give her a kiss and she would giggle away….then MMmmmm…..for another kiss and on and on. They are both just such beautiful, loving girls, I am so blessed to have care of them 🙂 Love my daughters <3

Speaking of children, my ultrasound to find out gender of baby #3 is booked for the 8th of Aug….so watch this space!! I can’t believe I’m 17 weeks already, it’s just crazy how much faster it goes when you have other kids to chase after!!

Anyway, I need to get my pretty girls into their beds so I can have a nice hot shower before bed!!!
