Liking the new job

I’m on my lunch right now at the new job.

I love it so far. I thought because I’d have to take the sliver of a pay cut from the contract and the title that it would be boring. NOT. Seems very interesting. Right now I’m just learning the flow of business and how the projects are coordinated the IT piece and the support model.

Found out that this company is a VERY new start up. There is a total of 6 of us working in my team business and IT alike and as a whole in this company there are about 15 employees with tons of expansion coming up in the near future (hello to refer a friend lol). My boss has only been with the company for 4 months. I was asked to come in at a Sr. position so I come in the door as a team lead. This is monumental for me you guys on the spiritual and natural end.

I was prophesied to 2 months ago that God was going to promote me and just 2 weeks ago I was asked to take over the intercessory prayer team at church. We had our first ‘official’ meeting this past Saturday and it was SOOOOO fruitful. We now have a format for the meetings,  I have guidelines and a mission for the team that has been approved by the Pastor and 1st lady,  it has been signed off on and approved. We are learning about the art of spiritual warfare,  sharing,  building relationships (the team only consists of 3 for the time being). Becoming a unit and just getting to know each others spirit. I will be communicating to and from Leadership any issues concerns and progress in the team.

And once acclamated to the Sr. IT position here I will be doing the same thing.

This place is definitely family oriented and everyone seems pretty nice. They have a christmas party this friday that we’ll be going to and moving into the new year. Good times. Okay well I don’t have much time to eloborate on other life stuff but I promise to in the future.
