I have a job!

Well guys I did it. I took Interview #2’s job. I was gonna turn it down but before I did something told me to do research on Interview #3’s company as a whole and I did. Turns out in March of 2009 they are letting go of 700 employees and shutting down a location. Um yeah thank you Lord for that little tap on the shoulder lol. I’da been working their through my contract and then let go like the rest duh!

And I’m determined that with this lower paying position in this growing company that all will soon change. I voiced my concerns with the boss and he assured me that I wouldn’t be stuck in the same position 5 years from now but because they are growing so rapidly that They will eventually have to expand It and other aspects and he would love to get me on track to become a manager. WOW. He told me that the 2nd interview would be basically to meet his boss and the other employees. His boss told him that because he and the IT guru were so enthusiastic about me that he trusted his decision to pick whomever he choose and he’d already chosen me so I have the job coming in at the max!!! 100% benefits paid,  1 week vacation, and also sick days! I told him I think I want to start on the 1st of the year but he’s anxious and says if I can start earlier that would be great!

We’re both excited about it. I know he needs the relief and darn it I need a job with a company that’s not gonna fold in the next 6 months to a year unlike my last two lol.

I think this will work out AND the job is 15-20 minutes from my house, A HUGE Gas saver.
