I GOT THE JOB YALL!!!!!!!!!

Okay I had to report that and do my victory dance i promise to have more details shortly.

I’ll just say this and make my peace. My last Day at my current job is tomorrow 01/26/07 and My first day on my new PERMANENT Job is Tuesday 01/30/07. God has made a way and this is just the new beginning!!!! Say hello to the new IT Systems Administrator for a company based out of belgium located in Ohio!!!!!

 Okay so this is what happened. continuing from yesterdays entry. At 5PM I go to meet with the company to go through my second interview not know what exactly to expect. I get there and the project manager asks me for another copy of my application that I’d faxed and sent to him I still had the original copy so I gave it to him and he made a copy of it. I ask to be escorted to the restroom to get myself together and they take me there. (off topic – last night I began freaking out about what I wanted to wear to the second interview and wanting to present myself as a technician ready to work and not over dressing or under dressing so in my head I envisioned my burnt orange turtle neck with some nice slacks and my burnt orange suede boots and a blazer. Problem was I had no blazer and my slacks had bleach on them grrrrrr. So luckily I jump up with 20 dollars and get in the car trying to think of where to go to get some good slacks and who I could borrow a blazer from. then I began to pray and heard "goodwill" went to goodwill and got a beautiful pair of charcoal liz claiborne slacks and a anna nicole black blazer for 10.00. Yeah baby!!!) So i get myself together and I come out of the restroom and meet with the other ppl. The other two associates from Belgium had flown in to meet with me as well. So we discuss the position I basically go over some of the same questions with this panel to let them get a feel for me as well. I find out that this position because it is IT administration and is based out of Belgium actually does travel to belgium atleast once or twice a year the total of travel expected will only be 2 weeks out of a year because they want to cut down on travel expenses. This position communicates directly with the belgium IT team to the Director of IT  and I will have a company provided mobile phone and laptop just incase and emergency arises or a blackout happens and I need to come into the office in off hours. cool cool. Then we discuss them wanting to add more structure to the position and more organization. Check. So the men get up and leave the room for a second and the original interviewer and I were in the room and we began talking and she tells me that she had made her decision to bring me in yesterday but her bosses that flew in from belgium wanted to interview all of the candidates to be fair. She was ready to make an offer right then and there lol. Now I’m excited and telling her well i’m ready to make an offer as well lol. So we talk about our kids and every thing and then the guys come back into the office and they basically tell me that they’d love to have me as a part of the team but because it was so late in the day the HR person was out of the office for the day. They will email me the benefits package and an offer letter and then we can come together to discuss the offer and sign the paper work tomorrow. Fine with me. Then they ask me about how soon I can start. I tell them Tuesday because I have to go through my exit interview with Xerox on Monday but Tuesday I will be ready to work. All is well we shake hands and I leave the office. I get to the parking lot and I’m about ready to burst!!!!! But it still hadn’t really hit me. So I’m calling my aunt and when she picks of the phone I count to 3 then we just scream for about 30 seconds. i tell her the good news and we are in business lol. Called Dh , he was still at work so I texted him and told him and he is ecstatic as well. He gets off of work and takes us to Ponderosa to get something to eat. Too bad my sinuses are a mess and I could hardly breathe I didn’t eat much but the gesture was so sweet. Now i am just trying to prepare myself for this new venture that God has for me. Yall keep me lifted ya hear?

This is a year of release! A year of Jubilee Read Leviticus 25:1-13 and Leviticus 26:1-13 and you’ll see what I mean. God is about to release some things to the body of Christ. Just you watch I’m tellin ya ;).
