Untitled (poem)

Silently we ride

through a black and white movie

All is quiet

but we know what eachother is saying

All around us the world is

crumbling…decaying

like after a bomb has droped.

You ant me to stop

so you can take some photos

of me

using the tumbled down buildings

as a back drop for your art

I stand on the balcomy

looking out at the city

when suddenly in full colour a big ballon

starts to rise out of the destruction

On it is some writing

I Love You

Will You Marry Me

How can something so beautiful

arise out of something so horrid?

I stare at you

full of disbelief

Then you are gone…..

All that I thought at the end of this was, “another broken promise.” Which made me very sad for you.
