Two for the price of one! *Image Heavy*
We went out to lunch today for mum’s birthday. We had Yum CHa as I think I mentioned last entry. I was really looking forward to this as Yum Cha is one of my favourite meals!
Here is the complex where the resturant is. And yes that is Zac’s head!
Where we went is right next to the Bell Tower. The Bell Tower houses some bells that were given to us by a sister city somewhere. There is some info here for those who are interested.
Some pics of the view from out table….
Paul’s mum was meant to join us, so when we arrived we kept telling them we were waiting for someone. Finally we decided we could wait no longer because we were really hungry but by that stage the trolly staff were ignoring us, hence the food was very slow in getting to us and a lot of the time they skipped out table completely. Finally we had out full and we were waiting for sweets. They just kept ignorong us so we paid the bill and decided to go else where.
Our first choice was the newly renovated Swan Brewery as none of us had been there before. When we got there though we discovered that they weren’t taking walk in’s until after 2 pm and we didn’t want to wait so we left. But before we did I snapped this Picture of The Little Dove.
We had a little drive around the city while trying to decide where to go next. The next picture is a damn ugly piece of art outside of the QV1 building where Paul works…please excuse the quality of this pic, it was taken from inside the car while it was going around the corner!
We also drove past parliment house…
That still left us wanting coffee and cake so we decided to try kings park next. This is the road that leads to kings park
View from Kings Park…
Zac at the park…
This is the garden bed that is behind him in the above pic…
Paul and Zac in the resturant where we finally got coffee and cake…
When we left Kings Park we drove along Mounts Bay road back into the city. This next pic is of a boat shed on the bay that they have done up…
And lastly this is my favourite part of Mounts Bay road as you head back into the city…I just love the trees here and know of someone else who will love them too 🙂
When we got back Paul’s mum called to apologise for missing lunch and to let us know that there was a bbq being held tonight for Paul’s cousins b/day. We decided to go along and tonight I got some amazing pictures…next entry to follow…
Just another little piece of me…..
awesome pictures 🙂

Great pictures! I wish I was there enjoying the sun! In that one photo of the flower beds, it looks like the girl on the towel is picking her butt. LMAO!!!

Im totally loving all these pics.. I adore the fact your entries now have ‘illustrations’ >:) You live in such a beautiful area! I cant believe how beautiful it is, everything is so lush and green and you have so many great, interesting buildings! I wish I had more of that kind of thing around here. I think my favourite pic so far is of the done up boat shed.. its so spiffingly quaint! xxx

I really enjoyed these photos. Do you live in (or near) Perth? After watching the Olympics I put Australia on my ‘to-do’ list, – right after the Grand Canyon. Thanks for sharing…
