Tis the season….edited

We didn’t go riding this morning; sleep was deemed more important on my behalf. And wouldnt you know it; I was awake at 5am! Alarm wasnt set till 6am. I swear, I dont know whats wrong with me! But I woke up feeling refreshed and minus headache, so all is good.

I am feeling motivated to go to work today and empty my every growing mountain that is my in tray. I could not truthfully say that yesterday. In fact yesterday was a wasted day between the light debarkle and other interruptions. I am putting out to the universe that today I want a quiet, stress free day of processing and finance chasing. I am sure I will get it; at least until the boss decides she wasnt the tree decorated as she bought new lights yesterday I am sure.

Well I gritted my teeth and decorated the Christmas tree and work. I figure that if I put it up some other mug can take it all down and pack it away. I think thats the bit I hate the most, packing it up. I have already stated that the one at home is going in the shed as is with a garbage bag over it so I can pull it out as is for next Christmas. Yes I am the epitome of laziness!

Up until about 10:30am I was the processing queen. I got quite a few deals done, but then it fizzled and died what with the tree and various interruptions. I am hoping after lunch I will be inspired again to get up and go. I still have an hour. After this I might give it another bash now that the bloody tree isn’t hanging over my head!

Oh and I have a new addiction. It’s called pirates. It rocks!

well isn’t that just the way…. Tis’ the season to be awake early & take the opportunity to ninja the man .. it still counts as exercise….lol have a great day! mmmwah!

hope you had a good one. 🙂 ryn: we have an acre for the cleared lawn. an acre for a garden where we sometimes plant stuff to play. the rest is totally natural. love it. 🙂

you what??? Oh Lordy! the tree!!! And you did it… Tis’ the season to be giving… Just remind yourself what goes around comes around… *hugs* PS: I’m waiting for you to load som pictures…lol

I love decorating but like you, have a severe dislike for putting everything away.

RYN: A relative has a Weimar…umm one of those dogs like you have *grin* Its the size of a small mountain. Belle is too but she is so low to the ground you don’t realize it until she crawls into your lap and takes up the whole lap,sofa AND any surrounding territory *grin*

I agree totally.. packing the tree up is the worst job there is! I dont know when it all changed, I use to love decorating the christmas tree when I was little. Then again I used to think our old 4’5 foot christmas tree’s was the same as though huge 12′ ones you see on TV in those corny christmas specials. I guess everything just looks different when your a child. P.S. Pirates? Please explain!

RYN – yeah, maybe I did misinterpret those looks. It’s easy to do that when feeling stressed. I generally try to give other stressed mothers understanding and compassionate looks – some of them have probaby taken that the wrong way too. How are the ratties doing?
