Sanity (poem)

I finally came to the conclusion tonight

that you weren’t worth the heartache

Or the pain that i felt over you

Obviously the time we shared meant nothing

And I feel like a fool for loving you

So now that I have found my sanity

I’m saying goodbye to you

For the last time

Because next time I wont be there

I refuse to pick up the pieces

This time they are like glass

And I refuse to bleed over you

So have your fun and move on

But leave me behind with my pain

So I can finally get over you

Once and for all

because at this moment

It would be so easy

To fall out of love with you
