Saddle Sore *Image heavy*

I nearly didn’t go for a ride this morning. When I woke up it was very overcast and I looked out the window and thought it was going to rain so I hit the snooze button. At 6:30 it was still overcast and I was still tossing around whether it was going to rain or not and then I thought of my lovely online friend and it came to mind that I was just making an excuse not to exercise. So I got up and dressed and went out for a morning ride.

The first 5 minutes were a killer! My butt hurt, talk about saddle sore and I was mentally kicking myself because I went through this last time and because I haven’t ridden for awhile it is going to take a bit of time for that soreness to go. I should never have stopped, but I am basically a lazy person and I really need a bit of help in the motivation side of things.

But I also thought of myself and how I really wanted to do this for me. It is part of my long term goal of becoming CRO and then into Sales. I need to have motivation, that go get it attitude and a competitive nature. All of which I know I possess, but I have let the laziness rule that part of my nature. Exercising for me and loosing weight is a way of reflecting all of what I want on the inside physically as well. I don’t know if this is quite making sense but in my mind it does.

I took the camera on my ride today and went in search of gutters for Jacqui, more houses to show and I also saw a tree and thought of Act Natural. This tree needed to be shown to her so it got a snap taken as well…

I forgot to take a pic yesterday of the first bridge that I rode over, so I took one thos morning…

Next I was on a hunt for gutters for Jacqui. I was hoping to get something uusual or funny, but no such luck. All I managed were plain old gutters….but Jacqui, just for you…

I call this one gutter with leaves…

Another one I call Gutter with leaves…

And just to prove we occasionally do clean oput gutters, I call this one Gutter without leaves…

I once again took lots of pics of houses…just a few for you to sample…

There first two are part of the same house. The first pic is the origonal house and the second pic is what they have added on just recently..

This house overlooks the park by the river that I rode to today…

And this one I like because of the different materials they have used to do the extension…

This next one is a bit of a blurred picture of one of our native birds, the locals call it a Twenty Eight. I am not too sure why, but it is some kind of lorekeete. We get them all over the place here and in some areas they will come and eat off your hands if they are take enough…

Here is a different shot of the river. This one was taken from the first bridge that I road over this morning. You can see how low the river is, we are on water restrictions here…

That big house in the earlier pic, well this is the view of the river that it had…

Standing right on the edge of that boat ramp you can see the bride I road across yeaterday and also the train bridhe. The white one is the one I road on with the bumpy wooden planks!

And last but not least, one for Act Natural…

Work today was frustrating. Since the Sales Secretary left I have been doing her job as well as my job and I feel like I am only doing half of each job and not very well at that. I am becomeing a bit depressed about work, I am finding it really boring and I am really missing the customer interaction. But we got a HUGE tender today which will hopefully mean that CRO position is closer than I thought, which means I need to do some more work on me to show that I am capable of doing this position.

Just another little piece of me…..

awesome pictures 🙂

I’m glad this photo gathering concept is making you get up and ride. It’s good for you. Now if only I had the time to do something similar, I’d have room to talk. *winks* Oh, and do you have Melaleuca trees near you? I want to see what the evil bastards look like in their natural habitat. <3

I believe you are capable… in fact I just believe in you… ROFLMSAO @ gutters… *leans in* you know I was talking about the street kind eh? But loved those pics. I loved all those pics actually.. what a diverse area you have. Ours is so different. And I am so proud of you for getting out there again.. you can remove your super hero cape now so us mere mortals don’t look too relaxed..HUG

NOOO!!!! I dont look cute! yuck! are you mad girl! i look absolutly stupid in it! hah.. Yeah maybe it’s a health thing, but I mean the Pizzas are all boxed up when they get delivered and there in the cradle when we deliver them, so ?? What health thing are they protecting them from? And what are you saying? That my hair falls out!

love the photos :)thank you for your very kind note, we are all doing okay today. 🙂 Alek is asleep on the couch enjoying his painkillers, and the rest of us are okay, too. 🙂 Thank you again for your concern!

ryn: I didn’t want any pics of the gutter …just wondered if you had them… looks so remote & open…nice & fresh… Gives you a huge in the air “High Five” just cause you deserve it… Mmmwah!

I didn’t realize a tee trea and a melaleuca were the same thing. They are such a problem tree here, I wish those sick pioneering bastards hadn’t introduced them. Progress, heh. <3

i’ll nag you to keep riding because i love looking at the pics you bring back. 😉 this is such a good idea. i wish more diarists would do it.

Now, don’t laugh, but I swear I got tears in my eyes over those trees. They tell me their secrets of living on this earth all these years. Thank you! I’m so proud of you pushing thru the ‘mental resistance’. I must admit, I don’t like to bike ride unless it’s just cruising, so double kudos to you. If you need someone to go with you, just put me on your shoulder, I’ll keep applauding you. Go Mrs B!

RYNs – thank you so much for digging up those entries for me, I truly appreciate it and I will read them as soon as I get a chance. I will be back to read this entry, too – I’m just doing RYNs at the moment. 😉

Love that final tree…
