Is it worth it? (Poem)

Thank-you for showing me how to love

But I really wish now that you hadn’t

Because with that love

I also found pain

A pain so destrutive

It makes you want to die

I also found confusion

A confusion so great

It clouds all reason

With that love I learned how to hope

To hope forever

And never recieve

So thank you for showing me how to love

For through your love

I have learned

The world is not as nice

As I thought it was

And because of that

I can now say I have lived

I have loved

And I am here to tell you

I was a fool to think it was worth it.

that is such a sad poem… I once wrote that “only a fool who gives his heart…is the fool who wants it torn apart”…or something to that effect.

It is fortunate that we learn from our mistakes, and most of them make us stronger.
