Get on your bike…. *Image Heavy*
I made a suggestion to a lovely lady online that we become exercise buddies. I know that sounds a bit weird seeing we can’t exercise together and to be honest I prefer to exercise alone, what I need is a b it of motivation and today she provided that for me by telling me that she had exercised and what she had done and I thought if she can I can and so I got on my bike 🙂
I decided to take my camera along and share my bike ride with you.
The area in which I live is one of the oldest suburbs in Perth and a part of the origonal settlement when they decided to build here how ever many 100’s of years ago. There are trees that are as old as the suburb lining the streets in which I rode. These two pics are of White Gums.
I love this house, it has an amazing garden that goes all the way down to the river
Here is the view of the garden
Another house that I love, you will probably notice a theme here if you know anything about Australian Architecture…I love Federation Style homes! The smell from their garden was amazing even from the street, a mixture of honey suckle, jasmine and roses….beautiful!
Here is a picture of the bridge I rode over….
And yes it is as rough and bumpy as it looks LOL! But the view from the centre of the bridge is worth it….
It started to get a little dark on the ride back so I hope this last picture worked. If not I may have to go back tomorrow morning
In a private entry I have put a very honest picture of me at probably the heviest I have ever been. I am not going to weigh myself, I have decided that each Thursday I will have another pic taken and put them together for comparisom. When I finally have a pic taken that I don’t cringe at I will share the whole lot with you all.
Finally, is there anything that I could possible access by bike that you would like to see a picture of? Gives me a little challenge and helps keep me motivated, plus makes me change my bike riding route. If you can think of something leave me a note and I will see what I can do 🙂
Just another little piece of me…..
excellent idea 🙂 as for ideas for pictures, having never been down there I’d be tickled pink to see pictures of just about anything LOL.. Look! here’s a blade of Austrailian grass “ooohh” ((hugs))

You have such an amazing chance to grab some truly breath taking pictures…I’ve gotta say I envy you. Well done on getting out there.. I’d love a picture of a sunset/sunrise from that bridge… *hugs*

The last two pictures wouldn’t load – dial-up must have timed out on me. But the houses and the garden are amazing. Thanks for sharing!

What a good idea about taking pictures! Not that it would motivate me to get off my lazy ass, but it’s a good idea the same. <3

I should take some photos of the pier near where I live. That last photo is very VERY scary.
