Everyone else is doing it….*edit* x 2

Ok shoot me, everyone else is doing this and I have had fun doing the test so I have decided to do one for you all to fill in 🙂 Go here to do my friend test . *Seems this was playing up but now it is working again*I will post the correct answers in a couple of days ut I am pretty sure most of you will get all of the answers 🙂 I am an open book!

We went on another ride today, this time much further than we have been before. We were gone for about to hours and we rode into the city. It was a beautiful ride and as per usual I have some pictures to upload later to share with you.

There is a huge fire in the hills atm and the house smells of smoke. It seems it was deliberately lit. I don’t know why people would do something like that. All the wildlife that is killed, it is so sad that someone gets a kick out of doing things like that. I am going to go for a drive in a little while and see if I can get some pictures of the smoke from the fire on the hills. It is hard to describe but when you see all the smoke is is scary that something so powerful is so close….

Tonight I am going to do my application for the Sales position, it was advertised in the weekend paper. The current CRO is also applying and on the quiet she has told me that if she doesn’t get the position she is leaving as she has had enough. Either way it leaves her position open and I will be applying for it. I really want that job! Ideally I want the current CRO to move into sales as she really deserves to get that position and it means she is still there for trouble shooting and training rather han being thrown in the deep end once again. Mind you I have discovered that I am a very good and strong swimmer when thrown in the deep end!

It looks like Paul might have found a permenant position for when this contract finishes. He has a final interview next week but they loved his resume and he was the only candidate put forward for the job. He thinks it is something he will really enjoy and it is similar in duties and pay to what he has now.

We were driving into town on Friday night to see Ocean’s 12 (Fantastic movie btw!) and we were talking about how this year seems to be our year. There are so many opportunities on the horizon for us this year with work and if it all falls into place we will be in the financial position we were dreaming of 2 years ago. If it all goes how we hope then by the end of this year we should be debt free and have a house deposit saved. I really do believe 2005 is our year and anything is possible 🙂

As I mentioned on Friday night we went and saw Ocean’s 12 at the movies. I was given some free tickets from work last year and they were going to expire soon so we decided to use them and to go out for a meal. We went to a new restaurant called Box 3. Paul and I both ordered Seafood and mushroom which was a seafood stir fry that came with a side serve of rice and omlette.  When it arrived it was seafood and cashew nuts, not a grain of rice, bit of egg or sliver of mushroom to be seen. I told the waiter that wasn’t what we ordered. And it was taken away only to be reproduced 2 minutes later with a mushroom sauce on top, still no rice or omlette! Again I queried the dish, wher was the rice and omlette? The waitress returned again with a side dish of rice. Normally I would have asked that we be seved our correct meal, but both Paul and I were very hungry and if we fussed any further we would have missed the movie, so we ate quickly and left. Needless to say we will show our displeasure by not returning there again.

Ok I really need to go and do some washing before tomorrow or we are all going to be going to work and vacation care naked!

Went up into the hills to get some photos of the fire. Unfortunately they were a little blurred, I have decided I need to get a tripod. But there is too good ones and a slightly blurred one for your viewing pleasure…

This last one isn’t of a fire but of a fountain that I had never seen before, it was very australian with the gum nuts and all so I thought I would share it.

Am going to head back up into the hills one day during the day as there were many places where I could get beautiful pictures.
