Bits and Bobs

  • Looked at a house yesterday which I think we might put an application in for. We have to be careful because each application is a weeks rent in fees and it starts to really tie up the cash flow.
  • Looked at a house the day before and when DH asked me about it all I could say is "NO!" repeatedly. Imagine this. A one bedroom cottage built 90 years ago. They then went and had 10 kids and added a room for each child. The smell, the uneven floor boards, the green/blue/orange mismatched kitchen…no no no no no!
  • I keep swinging between depression and a sense of everything will be ok.
  • Master 8 and a half did a diorama of the solar system for a school project, also with a report. It turned out fantastic. I will post pics here over the weekend.
  • Going to make dragons on Sunday – very excited
  • More house hunting on Saturday – not so exciting
  • School breaks up in unde a week. How did that happen?
  • I have to work out what to do with Master 8.

Just another little piece of me…..

*EDIT*

The dragon making is a day thing we are paying for. I have done it before and it was fantastic. It is up in the hills and with this artist who does this among other things. It is a full day event in her lovely home. The dragons are made from terrecotta and afterwards she fires them for you as well.

ryn: I’d love to see pic’s 🙂 I bet they are beautiful. Dragons have such strength, such power, such protection – I call them often to protect our home, the car & us. I always feel so much safer & secure after doing so 🙂 Have a great weekend hon, take care of yourself xxxxx

*fingers crossed* I know how stressful house hunting can be. What do you mean about the fees? Do you pay an application fee? Do you get that back if you don’t get the property? I don’t remember ever having to pay an application fee, but I guess things might be different over there.

RYN – oh, that’s awkward! Especially if you’re applying for more than one property.
