Broken

Follow blindly, tattered pieces of a soul,

 

Escape is impossible, creeping in the shadows,

 

Demons of the past find homes in the future,

 

Destroyer of dreams, a life incomplete,

 

Savage history, never together again,

 

Wounded pride of an arrogant person,

 

Flowers wilt and die, morning draws near,

 

Shallow graves, revenge is so much sweeter,

 

Karma fixes everything again

 

A brighter future soon, relapse to the past,

 

Never going forward, always looking back,

 

Happiness comes to those who work at it,

 

Crawl out of despair, hiding from the truth,

Never finding an answer, continue to fall,
